In the first weekend in March, most of my family happened to be in Utah County. My mom had been here for several weeks helping my brother with his new baby, and my dad had just flown in from a scary country that I'm not allowed to mention (doesn't that sound soooo mysterious?). My little sister brought her little family down from Rexburg, and with the three of us that live in the valley already, that left only one sister absent, who lives in Tennessee. We did manage to Skype with her together for a little bit, though.
We took the opportunity to gather together as an almost complete Piggott family to not only celebrate my dad's 60th birthday (Happy Birthday Dad!!!), but also to get the 3 newest Piggott cousins together for the first time. My little sister, Robin, and her husband welcomed their first little baby into the world 5 weeks
before Ember was born, and my little brother, Wes, and his wife welcomed their first little baby 5 weeks
after Ember was born. So the three newest Piggott grandchildren were each 5 weeks apart in age, and had never been all together in a room before. It was also my dad's first time meeting two of the three of them.
Apart from the abundant talk about diapers, breastfeeding, spit-up, bottles, naps, immunizations, milestones, etc, we were also able to capture quite a few fun pictures as well.

Ruth (with 10-week-old Ember), Robin (with 15-week-old Olli), and Wes (with 5-week-old Maddix) |

If you are thinking that Ember looks a little drugged-out in the above picture, you would be correct. She had received her 2-month immunizations that morning, and she was happily sedated with a little infant Tylenol.

Olli and Ember having a thigh-off. |
After much deliberation and opinion-gathering, it was determined that, while Olli has rounder apple-cheeks, Ember has rounder marshmallow thighs (why can't those things be cute on moms too?!).
 |
Wait, you're saying that the baby on the right is actually the older of the two?! |
See what I mean about the thighs? I take much pleasure in pinching and tickling those thighs each and every day.

A Maddix sandwich. |
Poor little Maddix kept stretching out his legs, as if trying to make himself appear larger and more manly compared to the two females on either side of him. Lots of rolly-polly thighs on that blanket. Nom nom nom.

A picture says a 1000 words. |
I had to include that last picture because Maddix's expression is priceless! I'm not sure if he is freaked out by the amount of estrogen surrounding him, or because one of those
girls is trying to hold his hand. Love it! I don't know when we will be able to get all these babies together again, with our family now being spread out through Washington, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, and Tennessee, but we had so much fun!
