Fall Fun!

It has been so long so we have posted anything-- so here are some pictures of what we have been up to...

Projects!

Busy Busy Busy with Projects... and this little Gem right here is Brag-worthy! I found this CRUSTY orange chair at the DI for $10 and with a little help from my friend Audrey we recovered it! Here is the material we removed (I forgot to take a picture of the chair before-whoops!) and the finished Beauty!

Other Projects around here: Colby finished a room downstairs for our office and all my Crafty Junk! He did the whole thing himself! My favorite part is the checker board floor!

And here is our sweet Baby Girl's Room... Most of the things in her room are Antiques from Great-Grandma Galvanoni or random things I found at Garage Sales. I made all the pillows, the bow holders, and the frames from old scraps of fabric. The dresser was painted by my grandmother when my mom was young. Thanks Mom for all your help picking out material & decorating~ It was so much fun to put together and it is my favorite room in the house!

Its Been awhile...

It has been forever since we have posted anything... We have had such a crazy, fun, and hectic life lately! We have been getting the new babys room ready--- and its a GIRL for those who don't already know. (I will post pictures soon of her room) She is schedule to debut OCT 16th!
We have also been trying to enjoy the short summers of Idaho by playing outside and swimming almost everyday!

Yes he is not even 1 and already and arranged marriage??... But what can we say, they are too sweet together! And by the way, can summer come already so we can do more outside play dates!!

My kid ate Poop...

So this is just so funny that I had to share the story...

Saturday we were over at some friends and it was a beautiful day so all of the Moms, Dads, & Kids were playing outside. There were a few pieces of 6 month old Dried Dog Poop on the ground so I was keeping a close eye on Zach to make sure he didn't put any Curious objects into his mouth.

Well, I got distracted because next thing I knew, Colby was dashing across the grass yelling, "Zach just put something in his mouth!" I looked on the sidewalk, and the little crusty piece of poop that had been there was gone... Yes folks- he ate it!

And the funniest part was, he didn't seem to think it tasted bad. (Just goes to show he will eat ANYTHING!) I couldn't stop laughing at the whole thing!!

11 Months!!

A few days late but all the same, Here an update on Zachary BLOG STYLE: so here are 11 things about this 11 month old:

1. He FINALLY said "Mama" the other day!
2. He loves to push himself into the standing position and balance himself
3. He says "All Done" "Hot" and "Up" and of course "DaDa"
4. He will eat anything you feed him and loves it all
5. He is still such a good sleeper!! All through the night, and great naps during the day
6. He loves to dance! Any music and he busts a groove!
7. He has 4 teeth, 2 top and 2 bottom
8. He love when you chase him
9. His new favorite is "What is in the cabinet" UGH!
10. He is almost 18lbs now!
11. If you ask him to point to your nose, he will pinch it!

FINALLY! Pictures of our Trip and a little tale of adventures to entertain...

We flew into Belize City and stayed the night in San Ignacio & Enjoyed Soy Ice cream!
The next day we headed to TIKAL in Guatemala to see the Mayan Ruins! What an incredible piece of history. There were over 3000 ruins in the area and only 20 or so were excavated. You could see mounds covered in jungle everywhere that were all Ruins. It was incredible! The statue was one found in the area as well that we thought was really interesting!
While hiking in Guatemala, we stopped for a TERMITE Snack. They tasted like Carrots and herbs!
Next we headed to the Jungles of BFREE where my Dad and StepMom manage a research facility. We Offroaded in on a Truck named "Grizzly"(notice its "Grill"), and as the jungles became thicker we had to dodge vines and leaves.In the Jungle we saw all kinds of animals, and Insects GALORE! We saw Howler Monkeys, Spider Monkeys, Crocodiles, Boas, Ferdalace, CoatiMundis, Gibnuts, Possums, Kinkajus, Scorpions, Tarantulas, Giant Hissing Roaches, and everything else you can imagine!

Here is a *FUN FACT* When in the jungle at night, if you look into the grass or vegetation, you see thousands of sparkles that look like water droplets. They are really SPIDER EYES!
What is funny about this is if you notice on the right side of my face there is a little black dot... It is a mosquito biting me... But I had a choice to make, Mosquito VS. Tarantula Bite, so Mosquito had a nice little snack!
While taking a night Hike, my Dad takes off into the Jungle all of a sudden. We hear rustling... And out he comes with a 5 foot Boa Constrictor! Whoa!I know! It is like something from Indiana Jones!!! This is a half day hike to HOLY ROCK where there is a rock you climb up and jump off of and Vines you can actually swing from! In the water wasn't so pretty, if you stop moving for even a minute, hundreds of little fish start to snack on you! It didn't hurt but it sure made ya jump!These were the girls that do all of the cooking for BFree, and let us just say, BEST FOOD EVER!Off to the Villages where we made Chocolate from Scratch! Its weird, its just the beans that you grind with a little bit of sugar and Nutmeg, and BAM- Chocolate!After our adventures in the Jungle and Villages around, it was time for some much anticipated BEACH Laziness! We headed to Placencia, where we Ate, Kayaked, Ate, Snorkeled, Ate, and Relaxed!What a Trip it was!!! And here are a few signs that made us laugh along the way!
