Feb. Misc.

Daisy started working with Hanna at Crumbl
(they were smiling before I pulled out my camera).

Clark won 1st place at YM's doing a Bob Ross painting.

Our first real snow storm this winter. None of our cars have good enough tires to drive on the hills. Van was taking care of a dog another mile up the mountain. Van and Clark walked the mile up hill during the storm to feed the dog, when they came back Clark's cheeks were bright red.

We finally had enough snow to build a snowman.

Carolee was helping her daughter move to Utah.

The three of us were able to get together.
It was Valentine's Day, so Danny and I went to lunch together.

"Tiny but Mighty"

Max & Heather welcomed their sweet baby boy (Phineas Dean) to their family this morning. He was born 7 weeks early because the placenta stopped working properly, weighing 3 lbs. 9 oz.

Danny and I drove to Rexburg last night so we could be there for the delivery this morning. He is so strong! The hospital staff were calling him “Tiny but Mighty” He was breathing on his own from the start. We are so grateful that prayers were answered and both mom and baby are doing so well. Keep the prayers coming he will be in the hospital for the next few weeks and we hope and pray he will continue to grow healthy and strong.

Funny Story

This week while eating tacos Walt told Jane that he was making his own taco since he was 3. Well, Hanna said he wasn't making tacos at 3 and yesterday Hanna found this post I wrote on our blog in 2012...

Counting My Blessings
When Danny isn't home by dinner time it gets way hectic around here. Tuesday night I knew he wouldn't be home until 7:30 so I was better prepared, but it still is crazy at dinner time. I asked my kids for help and all 5 of them wanted to help. I had Max cut tomatoes, Hanna stirring the meet and Van, Daisy and Walt taking turns grading the cheese. Then Max and Hanna helped put tacos together for Daisy and Walt. Then Max, Hanna and Van made their own tacos. They were all so kind and helpful I was so proud of them and felt so proud to be their mother. I am truly grateful for each of them. I just feel so blessed to have these wonderful spirits apart of my life!
-Max 9, Hanna 7, Van 6, Daisy & Walt 4 and Clark 9 months.
*Side note, Jane is 9 and is still the baby of the family. I do way too much for that girl and the other kids are constantly saying what they were doing by her age. Max and Hanna had to grow up fast having so many little siblings and some days I feel so bad about it, but I'm grateful I wrote down these little snips of our life and can look back and see how blessed we were to have all those sweet spirts in our home.

MIAMI

We stayed a night in Miami, had to leave for the airport at 3:30am.

Wondering if there's crocodiles somewhere behind us.

Heading home.

I got an amazing deal on our flights, but that meant we had long layovers and
an extra night in Miami, but hey $1200 for all 8 of us to fly was worth it, maybe!

Beautiful Miami

Basically, all our pictures on this video.

Great Stirrup Cay

We were most looking forward to this stop on NCL's own island, but we're a little disappointed.
We didn't realize there wasn't a dock and we needed to take the ferry onto the island.
We didn't end up getting on island until 3 hours later.
We still ended up having a great day.

I'm always so amazed at how clear the water is.
We think Bahamas is our favorite.
