Halloween!

We love Halloween over here! Our kids have been begging to do the Inside Out theme since the movie came out, which was close to a year ago! They held true and stuck with the theme. I wasn't sure we could pull it off, but luckily it all started to come together last minute. As a family we dressed up twice and it was a lot of work, but lots of fun! Our first event we went to the high school for haunted halls. It was so funny to watch everyone discover who we were. They would see one of the kids and recognize their character, then see another and start piecing us together. They would get so excited to see all of us together. It was pretty funny to watch!

At our ward party they played "Pie the Bishop"

We managed to carve some pumpkins

We had a great night trick or treating. It was so fun because the weather was so nice!

Peanut College in Albany, Georgia

Since Nate transferred over to all things peanut butter at work (yay!), he got to go to Peanut Butter college. Yes it's a real thing! He went to learn all about how peanuts grow etc. He also got to take a sneak peak at cotton fields and all that goes with it.

Boiled Peanuts. Nate loved them!

Grandpa Frank & Grandma Londa

My dad and Londa came to visit for 5 days. It was great to see them again! While they were here we went to watch the girls play soccer (our life in the summer and spring). We also went apple picking. We picked SOOO many apples. We made caramel apples and dried a ton of them. Which really means turn a giant back of apples into a sandwich bag full.

It was so good to see them!

While they were here, my dad worked on some electrical things that we needed done. It was about 3 days of work. So glad he could do it for us! However, I had anticipated him hanging this chandelier for us. He never got the time so I insisted it still go up since mentally I was planning to have it hung while he was here. He gave us some basic instructions. Nate figured out what parts we needed and I youtube'd the process. We made a great team and had it hung in no time. We sent my dad this picture. He was really happy we were able to get it up! So was I! This light puts off SO much more light then the last one.

Hallie's First Cavs Game

Ever since Hallie walked passed the Quicken Loans Arena when at an Indian game in the summer, she had been begging to go to a Cavs game. It was going to be on her Christmas list, but luckily she didn't have to wait that long! Hallie was invited to go with our friends the Deans. It was a school night and Hallie got home around 10pm. What a lucky girl! She said she had so much fun and couldn't believe she saw Lebron James in person! She also loved getting snacks at the concession stands!

Cheerleading/Ron & Vickie

Ron and Vickie flew in for a visit just in time to see Hallie cheer at the OHS football game. I under estimated Hallie because she had so much fun! Adalie hated the year she did it, so I figured the same for Hallie.

We stayed busy as usual by attending the girls soccer games, went to Amish country, and went to a local Oktober Fest. It was a great time having them!

Ramseyer Farms

Every fall we sign up to be in the PTO so that we can come to Ramseyer Farms for FREE! Our kids have so much fun! There is a designated night for Orrville PTO families so it's perfect because all of their friends are there, which means my friends are there too! It's also not crowded and fairly warm out. Our kids look forward to this every year, as do we!

We only have a select few pictures of our girls because they kept running off with their friends.

These boys are hunks!
