2. Under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Boy, was I dopey when I woke up from my surgery! I feel really dopey, and I don't remember last night's party at all—someone must have slipped me some drug. We won't be able to kidnap the heiress unless we somehow get her dopey first.
3. Tired. That movie made me dopey, that's how boring it was. I didn't sleep well last night, so I've been dopey all day. The kids are dopey because it's past their bedtime.
