this red, fortress-looking hotel and residential complex is
(or rather will be, i think it might still be in design phase as of now)
nestled in green along the albanian riviera, looking out on the

blue of the ionian see.

rgb meets fiber

i love this idea! i love how tom katsumi takes something digital — the old
bbc test card — and reinterprets it in embroidery.

it's fascinating how the colors appear in our eyes/brain, even though they’re made of physical threads, not light. i guess, the black background does the trick, and maybe the fact that the treads are shiny.
