Fresh Start

What a shitty week last one was! Inside out for me.
I failed!
Me, or the system.

I mean.... the graphic explains:

"SGML: 1980/1986
XML: 1998"

We conclude: "SGML was after XML".

I am too dumb to count.
Five multiple-choice-questions like that and I failed.
Three times.

Ingo was not even willing to listen to me.
I was so darn frustrated.
Wrote to my "supervisor" on Friday morning - no answer still.

I just go on, huh? Studying. "Studying"....
See first pic.
I want those boys to shooooooo off XML.

SALT. please!!!

For stupid decisions, a mural and an arty Henry just scroll down and please... wish me luck for today. I wanna pass and forget all that. Just pass.
Get the certificate and my job back.

Scroll up to first pic.
.... please. It may make your day, too.

One steers, one pedals.
That is all we need.
No logic.
Maybe it just takes two...
OK, here goes:

As lazy as I am, are you? 😘

Neustädter Mühle #II - Let Us Play

Youth Center Neustädter Mühle just a week later had a brand new "mural".

"Bad" memories.

 1979? It.Was.So.Boring.

I hate getting my pic taken....

Some "mural"-details:

The series:
"Are these the worst decisions in history?

 A titanic failure

A litany of poor decisions, inadequate equipment, and the fact that the ship had not undergone sea trials led to the sinking of the RMS Titanic on April 15, 1915, after it struck an iceberg. More passengers could have survived if additional lifeboats had been available—the Titanic was only equipped with enough boats for one-third of the total passengers and crew she could accommodate."

 Atari rejects Apple

When Apple co-founders Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak wanted to sell their revolutionary personal computers, they approached Atari, then one of the largest video game and home computer companies in the world. Atari said no. They even rejected the Steves' offer to work for them. Atari was crushed by the 1983 video game crash. Meanwhile, Apple became the largest brand on the planet in computers and consumer electronics."

Thanks again, River, for helping, meeting us  and having fun!

Wendy #6

Here is more of Wendy´s wonderful art.

Whilst Ingo and G went crazy taking pics of a huge spider, P and I quickly moved on.
Then P said, "shhhhht, ... look!"
He really gave his best, but I did not spot this bird and even doubted P!

We were hungry and thirsty and sat down in the nearby pub.
In many Aussie pubs you get your drinks yourself, so P went and then mimicked me to come over - thought he needs help, but no - he pointed me to the window.

No lille blue bird. Again!
He tipped me on the shoulder to turn around, grinning like a seven-year-old. On the flat screen: The Simpsons and HA!!!!
I could identify the episode at once!
And certainly told him, beers in hand, G heard me blabbering about and just rolled her eyes.

Their daughter is a fan as huge as me and often they have to endure the "like at The Simpsons..." from both of us.

In Ps defense:

Meet...

This of course is for...

The series:
"Are these the worst decisions in history?

Rejecting "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone"

No fewer than 12 different publishers rejected J.K. Rowling's novel "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" before Bloomsbury accepted the manuscript. Only 500 copies were published, of which 200 were paperback proofs and 300 were hardcovers. A first edition (pictured) of the book is worth thousands today."

FFO And Smiles

With this kitty-catty I join Nicole´s FFO and Gillena..
And this made me smile for Annie´s:

.. or, maybe.... I´d ask for a refreshing beer first! Some funnies! As... it´s Friday, right?

The series:
"Are these the worst decisions in history?

Not wanting to broadcast Monday Night Football

In the late 1960s, both NBC and CBS declined an offer from National Football League Commissioner Pete Rozelle to broadcast live games on television in a program called Monday Night Football. Instead, ESPN struck the deal and aired the weekly sports program on its sister network ABC from 1970 to 2005, before debuting on ESPN itself in 2006. Monday Night Football remains one of the longest-running and highest-rated television programs of all time."

Thankfully it´s on German TV now, too!

Keep on smiling!
