I was at the store today picking up a birthday present when Eliza decided she needed to poop. I was holding her in the moby and the next thing I know I hear the infamous poop squirt. She had a fairly fresh diaper so I was hoping we were safe (she blows out a lot) but I immediately felt something wet hit my foot. Oh no! I looked down and watched as she squirted again and it dripped all over the floor and my foot. At this point I could also feel my shirt getting wet.
I did the only thing I could. Jonah was in the cart and I had to get the present since the birthday party was in an hour so I grabbed the wipes and shoved one into each side of her diaper and then started cleaning up my foot and the floor. I didn't dare pull her out of the moby because I didn't know how much more I would find behind it on my shirt so I just left her there. We headed up to the checkout, purchased our items and came home to clean up.
What a moment!

2 years later...
So I was talking with a friend about blogs yesterday and it reminded me that I haven't posted on our blog in a long time. I got on and realized that it's been over 2 years. Sorry everyone. Well if you haven't given up hope on us yet, here is a quick update.
Jake is going to school and is crazy busy with homework. He's really let his face go too. ;-) I wish I had a picture of his beard right now. It's amazing. I lovingly refer to him as my mountain man when people comment on it. He also has a handlebar mustache that is quite impressive.
The boys are growing bigger everyday. It's amazing to me how fast they are growing up. I'll post a few recent pics below.
I am just working away as usual. I have also started a fun little project/small business providing continuing education to sign language interpreters. It's a lot of work and takes up all of my "free" time but it's fun and I'm learning a ton.
Well, that's all for now. I will try to get on before 2 years has passed again. Enjoy the pics below.

Xan's Pics
Xan loves to look at the pictures on my phone. Occasionally he takes pictures with it as well. Here are some of his recent masterpieces.
Great one of Jonah. (5 mo. old) He always has a bib because he drools like there's no tomorrow.
Great Grandpa

Easter
Easter was pretty low key at our house but Xan did have fun going to a community egg hunt and coloring eggs on Saturday. Sunday he loved the sidewalk chalk that he got. I have posted pics below for your viewing pleasure.

Quotes and Pics
So, I'm obviously not keeping up on the blog very well. Oh well. Here are some fun pics of the boys as well as some Xander quotes. He's getting to be quite funny these days.
Mommy: Xan, you're filthy!
Xan: No worries mama, I'll put my clothes in the hamper so you can wash them.
Xan: (pointing at the food on the pantry shelves) Not that one, not that one, not that one, but that one mama. (I'm not sure where he got the idea to point out what it's not before revealing what he wants)
Xan: (As we're driving up to the house)Yea!! Daddy's home!
Mommy: No, daddy is still at work.
Xan: Awww, Sad
Xan: (after reading a new book) Mama, that was increbable!
Enjoy the pics. Many are from my phone so they're not that great but its something. :-)

Lots of New Adventures
Alot has happened in the last few months. We're very behind on our blogging. Sorry everyone. I will try to be better but no promises.
First, we bought a house last summer. Yes, I know, we'll have to stay in one place for more than a year now. I'm still brainstorming coping strategies for next year when I get antsy.
Secondly, our family has grown. Jonah was born last month. Xan loves him. Too much sometimes :-). We are trying to engrain in his 2 year old brain that he can't pick up the baby. For now, supervision is required at all times. He loves to give him kisses and hold him.
Well, I know it's short but I added some pics for your enjoyment.
Happy Thanksgiving! We are grateful for the many blessing that we enjoy!
Xan quote of the day:
Xan: "Mommy, do you have a idea?"
Mommy: "Yes, I have lots of ideas. Do you have any ideas?"
Xan: "No. I have questions."
Jonah, 1 month old
Mom, that's a bright light!
