He Is Risen! Alleluia!!

Hello,

Happy Easter! I'm here to share a card I made for a recent hop.

Products used:
#darice embossing folder (after embossing, the cross was cut from the centre so the relevant words were not hidden with the square mat by extending it vertically & horizontally)
#craftsmart woodblock stamp (was peeled off from the block & the sentiment was separated so I could position it to fit the square mat & temporarily adhered to the Misti for ease in stamping)
#ourdailybreaddesigns (dies) #catherinepooler inks (for ink blending & stamping)
#nuvopen, #nuvo crystal drops & #staedler fineliners (for hand-drawn flowers).

Challenges entered:
#wordartwednesday - anything goes
#allsorts - anything goes
#neglectedstuff - woodblock stamp was not used in a project as I could not get a crisp image in one go, so I used it as mentioned above.

Have a wonderful week.

Messy-Artsy Technique

Hello,

It's spring I'm sharing a card made several months ago using a messy-but-artsy technique I learnt by watching a tutorial by @jennifermcguireink. The image stamped with distress ink reacts with water spritzed on it to create the messy look. Creating something messy is out of my comfort zone, but I like trying new techniques.

Products used:                                                                                                                                                                                  #distressinks #papersmooches (flower stamps) #cottagecutz & #tayloredexpressions (butterfly dies- I mixed & matched 2 dies) #myfavouritethings (sentiment) & bling

Challenges entered:
#simonsaysstampwed - anything goes
#wordartwednesday - anything goes
#pammiesinkypinkies -  anything goes

Have a great day.

Sending Prayers

Hello friends,

I'm sharing this card, on which I used the soap bubble technique for the background panel. It was my first attempt at this fun technique, but capturing the effect on camera was the most difficult part. I hope the recipient, a cancer victim will like this card.

Products used:
#heroarts (stamp & die) #gansaitambi pearl colors & bling

Challenges entered
#wordartwednesday  - anything goes
#allsorts - feminine

I will be back after Easter. Until then happy crafting.

A Designer CASE

Hello,

I'm here today to share a card I made for a Time Out Challenge to CASE the designer Donna Mikasa. I was truly inspired by the design of her card where one section was stencilled and embossed while the other was only embossed. I chose to stamp the flowers, then embossed and covered the joining line of the panels with a sentiment strip.

Products used:
#altenew embossing folder #winniewalter (floral stamps) #stampendous (sentiment) #catherinepooler inks & bling

Challenges entered:
#timeout - #283 CASE
#simonsayswednesday - anything goes
#wordartwednesday - anything goes

Have a great day.
