How did that happen. 2 months and I haven't posted.
My friend Tara and I went to Twin Falls to learn how to learn to use our flashes for our cameras. It was a fun day and as a result, I shot this of the kids. I am sure you see the sports theme. I think it is the first photo of himself that CJ actually likes. :)
The kids finished swimming lessons. It was fun for everyone. Lilli and I spent a lot of time on the Green Belt by BSU walking and running while they were swimming.
We discovered we live really close to Lake Lowell. We went out one night. Jaxon is the only one that caught something but it was still a fun night.
CJ finally had his piano recital. He never makes mistakes but this time he did. I still think he did a great job!
We went to a party store to buy girls camp supplies. We had too much fun! The kids were great!
here is a video o fthe kids being really silly.
We have spent a few nights in Emmett. We went for Cherry Festival and the parade. That was fun.
Coming home always ends the same....
Jaxon has been asking lately for his baby blanket that Grandma Olson made him. I finally got it out of storage and now he sleeps with it every night. Kind of sweet.
Charlie has made a few pies lately. This is his best "helper". I am glad she chooses to "help" him and not me sometimes. :)
CJ got his Wolf at scouts. He was so tickled. He also earned five arrowheads because of additional activities he completed. For some reason they didn't really present it to him, they just handed it to him and had him sit down so we weren't able to get a photo at the pack meeting.
CJ has been mowing the yard. After 30x he has decided that would be worth a ripstick. What a great deal, huh? While he mows, lilli does this:
This is him mowing around the only tree we have that is big enough to produce fruit. We are hoping for some peaches later this fall.
I try to keep the other kids busy while he mows. On this day, we picked beans. By the way, mom and dad, the sky is usually that blue!
These are some of the weeds at the neighbors. Kind of pretty.
After the lawn is mowed and the beans are picked, we snip and bottle. We have gotten a surprising amount of beans.
We went to the church orchards with the young women. We were supposed to be thinning apples but I am not sure how much work we actually accomplished.
It was fun to visit my parents farm for a few days. This is Peggy and I at the cabin. We aren't very funny but we sure thought we were.
We thought this was funny too. We stayed for just a few nights and look how much food is on the counter.
And yep, we filled the fridge too. ;)
Here is one of the trees at the cabin. I was impressed by the growth. All of the trees I saw, looked great!
Beautiful setting!
CJ climbed the hill. If you look close you can see him. I helped with the arrow. Then I zoomed in to get a close-up.
It was fun to go to the parade. Dad, this is your class with Gamble at the tractor! ;)
Free having a great time!
It was fun to be with Brigham City Olson's.
CJ on his birthday.
At the cabin looking for lizards.
CJ invented a new sport he calls ROCK SURFING. He thought it was a blast. Lexi thought she would give it a try but was a little scared. CJ went to her rescue.
We went to the FCMC carnival one morning that was free for the kids. CJ is getting his face painted. He requested a cobra.
Happy birthday to CJ!!
We wanted to swim at Bear Lake but didn't have time to drive there. We went to Oneida Resovoir instead. CJ made himself a Harry Potter sword. Lexi "cleaned" the water the whole time by moving the logs and such to the shore.
For my birthday I wanted to bike the green belt in Boise. Unfortunately charlie had to work but we still had fun. We probably went 8ish miles. We had so much fun we went again on Friday with some friends.
I also took the girls out the other night with my friend Tara and shot some photos of our girls.
