It all began with these people. Except we were alot younger. The flood of memories growing up with them brings back: all out laughter, tears of sadness and incredible joy, pride in accomplishments, and most of all GREAT times.
Growing up in Fresno afforded us many opportunities to make the 90 minute drive to Yosemite on a frequent basis. I love that place. The view coming out of the tunnel on Highway 41 is irreplacable. Nothing like it. To witness first hand the magnitude of the valley below leaves one in awe of the beauty of God's creations. Truly, Yosemite has to be one of His favorite masterpieces.
Karen has arranged for the last 33 years to have several Housekeeping Cabins reserved for groups of varying sizes. This year she made it a particular priority to make cabins available for all the Harline siblings and our parents. It worked. All of us came with as many of our own family members as was possible. We had a total of 56 people. It was hard to believe that even with a large group such as this, we still had 23 family members missing!
What a time we had! The best part was sharing the beauty of Yosemite with...
Kristi and Phil,
Nick and Jamie,
Travis and Alise,
Troy,
And of course....Reese
She went on big adventures with Grandpa on the bus...
She found her new favorite food...
And posed perfectly for pictures...ha!

well, almost.
All in all, it was most memorable and I hope that this will be a long lasting family tradition and be able to include those we missed, this time...Ty, Rach, & Jackson, (who had to go to Clearwater, Florida on business)
and Ashley and Scott (who did a wonderful service in watching Teddy).
Loved and missed you all!
Happy 4th of July!
