Picture Dump

Will got to go to two fathers and sons outings this year.  He and Dave had a blast.  Us girls got to have a "girl party"...but we forgot to take pictures.
Dave came home with tickets to the D-Backs baseball game for family home evening one night.  His work tickets were available and we got to take the whole family.  They were great seats and it was fun to take the kids to their first baseball game. They loved it!
Okay, this girl loves spaghetti!  I had to get a picture!
 Playing dress up
We finally got our yard leveled!  Irrigation was never making it up front, so hopefully now we can have a green lawn in front.  We ordered tons of dirt, which the kids loved playing in, and had a guy come spread it out.  It was fun to watch.

Mckenzie's birthday is in June so I was very surprised when she came home a few weeks ago with a birthday crown and certificate from school.  Happy Random Birthday, Mckenzie!
Easter...when you live close to two grandparents, you get two Easter egg hunts...spoiled kids! :)

 Megan's first Easter

 Lookin' good, Megan!
Watching a show while Dad is gone.
I braved a solo trip to California with the kiddos.  We visited my sister, Amy.  Thanks for hosting us, we had fun!  This petting zoo was definitely a highlight.

Allison turned 4 years old!  She's growing so fast!
It's so fun to have sisters!
Snow trip!  It was the first time our kids have seen and played in show (Will doesn't remember when he saw snow before.)  They liked it for about an hour...in fact, Megan loved it!  But the girls got "too cold" after about 1 1/2 hours and then we left.

Mckenzie's school field trip to the zoo.  They let little siblings come and we got to take Mckenzie and just do our own thing.  We all got in for $2 each...great field trip!
I think my girls were born wanting to pose for the camera.
 Megan's first birthday!
 Christmas morning
Mckenzie played Jingle Bells at a family Christmas party.  I stayed home with a sick Megan, but I heard she rocked it!
Our piano recital.  Mckenzie's first one!  They are patient with me as I teach all the other kids and they get the "leftover" time.
I don't know why they're on the roof...ask their dad.
Will's first soccer season.  He loved it!
Mckenzie's first dance recital.  It was so cute to watch.  For their first piece, one little girl ended up with a puddle underneath her and they had to stop the dance in the middle as the audience all gasped as each girl barely missed the puddle with their leaps.
Mckenzie did great!

We had a hailstorm one evening.  It was cold and was even snowing some places.  The kids saw icicles at school the next morning.

Family Pictures

I finally decided to download pics from my camera and post some.  So here are our family pictures we got taken in December, as I was pondering Christmas Cards.  We always seem to be last minute about it but, thanks to some friends who didn't mind helping last minute, we ended up with some pictures we liked.

Fall Fun

Dave was gone overnight and Will told us that he had a surprise.  He set everything up to watch a movie outside after dinner.  It was a fun idea (except my poor boy was covered in mosquito bites!)

Dave's birthday was at the end of September.  He got an ice cream cake, by request.

Megan's hair is starting to get long enough to do.  I tried putting pigtails in it for the first time.  They didn't stay in all day, but it was fun to try.

The kids and I got to go to a cabin with cousins over fall break.  The weather was beautiful and the kids loved running around outside.  There were some beautiful red trees that we had to stop and take pictures by.

Dave took a few days off during the kids' fall break also.  We spent one afternoon at a park right by the new Gilbert temple.

We stopped in to the little visitor center/trailer and had the missionaries take our picture.  The kids all got a piece of the rock they are using to build it.

I had to get a picture of these two.  They love each other!  Megan was giving Will hugs.  They are also roomies...and Will is loving that Megan sleeps through the night now!  One night she woke up crying as usual, but for some reason I slept soundly through the entire time that she cried, even though she woke up Will and Dave.  So I ended up letting her cry it out (unconsciously) and now she is so much better at sleeping!

We did our traditional pumpkin-carving for family home evening.  (The girls used marker to draw on their pumpkins, until they get older.)
(Mckenzie told me this was a spooky picture that would scare everybody...BOO!)

I was getting ready to help in Mckenzie's class and it was right when I usually put Megan down for a nap.  She just couldn't make it till I got her to my friend's house.  I thought it was pretty cute...until her older sister woke her up.

This girl was such a hard baby...until she learned to crawl.  Now she is so happy and fun!  Night and day difference!  I don't know if she was colicky or what, but we will enjoy Happy Megan. :)

My friend told us about the Halloween storytime at the library.  I dressed up the girls and went.  Allison loved it and also got to trick-or-treat.

This is Halloween evening.  I had different ideas for all the girls, but then they all decided that they wanted to be matching ballerina princesses.  And Will wanted to be a vampire.

Happy Halloween!
