New Bed... it's a loft bed...

I love IKEA

Friends are good for testing new beds...

We tested the weight limit... it held 5 of us.. so I think it will do.
Nate Barber and Mike Snow.. Good old friends are the best.

A Party for the Pants..

The festivities were just getting started. Michelle, my best friend, saved my life. She helped me clean, and plate all of my food. One day we will do this for a living! It looked fabulous.

Such good food!

I had such a good time!

This is me, before the food and drinks, and people!

Good times...

My fun friends from highschool!

Pants Parties are fun!

Murder Anyone?

As you all know, I have the coolest family a person could ask for! We recently held our yearly Murder Mystery Dinner! It was very fun. We stayed in character the whole time... I was Mrs. Columbo! I included a pic of Poncho, my sisters dog, just because he looks cool here. Anyhow.. enjoy the photo's!

My new place....

Moved out...

Well I'm now finally living downtown again! Yipee! I love my new apartment.. it just needs furniture! I will take donations!!! Anyhow, I love living alone, although it is lonely at times. I've met some really cool neighbors, and I'm going to have a house warming of some kind.

Tsunami

That is right, I now work at Tsunami Sushi Bar in Union Heights! It is awesome! After working at The Happy Sumo for 5 years, yes 5 years, I am no longer. Tsunami is awesome and a nice change of pace. I love all of the people I work with, especially because half of them are my lil' sisters' friends. It is great though. The food is more expensive, they have a better variety of fish.. for Peskatarians like me, and the management is so much better than the sumo! BTW.. a Peskatarian is someone who only eats fish and vegatables!

Aly has left the building...

My awesome little sister Alyson left one week ago for her mission. She will be serving in the San Bernadino, California Mission! She will stay at the MTC for two more weeks. I'm very excited for her, and I hope that she is happy about her decision to serve an LDS mission. I can't believe she is already 21! I remember holding her as a newborn baby! I'm already counting down the days until she comes home! I love my baby sister, she is the absolute best!

A New School Year...

Well I'm about to start my second year of teaching 6th grade at Adelaide Elementary. I am scared although I've already been through the hardest year supposedly. It looks as though I have some really great students.. 23 of them in fact! I did get a brand new classroom that has windows.. So excited about that. This year will be great, although I'm sad to see summer leave. Until next summer.. do your homework!

Spring is here...

My spring has officially started, because I'm on SPRING BREAK for a whole week... no more lesson plans, no more early mornings, no more recess, no more correcting, no more faculty meetings, and no more stress... at least for next week!

Teaching...

"A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove . . . . but the world maybe different because I was important in the life of a child."

I believe that teaching is one of the most important careers, and I'm so glad I have invested my heart in it! This is my first year, and it has been a tough one, but I'm sticking with it!!
