Happy birthday Ady!

Ady had a great 9th birthday. She had a birthday party with some of her friends and had a fun time making a craft.
We also got to take her out anywhere she wanted for her birthday. She chose Panda Express but since it was raining we talked her into going to Wingers. She said that it was ok but when we got there she was not happy and spent pay of the dinner crying.
When they brought out her birthday asphalt pie she decided that she was happy with her choice.
The night ended up being just fine and she was happy by the time we left the restaurant. Then she got to open presents and she was excited to get roller blades for her birthday. She can't wait to try them out.

Beautiful day

Today we went on a bike ride for cub scouts. We decided to take the whole family along since there are only two cub scouts. It was a beautiful day. Ben loaded the twins and Korver on his bike and we headed out. I forgot how out of shape I am and struggled up the hills. It was fun though and something I hope we keep doing.

Fun on the Farm!

During spring break every year we usually plant our garden.  I love going to the garden store and buying plants.  It just makes it official that it is spring.

I don't have a very big garden but I usually get a lot out of it.  We planted 5 tomato plants, 1 green pepper, and 1 zucchini plant.  We will see how it turns out.  Sadie was so excited about helping and ended up completely filthy!  Oh well, that is part of spring too:)
Ben and I ran a 10K together at the end of spring break.  I made him promise that he would stay with me  since I had only ran 4 miles before this race.
The start of the race was freezing as we had to stand there for an hour but the run was beautiful and I was able to run most of it.  I did tell Ben at one point to just leave me but he stuck by my side.
It was fun running with Ben and it was good to have him by my side:)
This is Sadie the first time we ever did her hair in pig tails.  She was excited and the girls were super excited.  It was on the Sunday before she turned 2.  I probably could have put pigtails in Stockton's hair 6 months before.  Of course my little boy had way more hair than any of my girls ever did at that age.
Playing outside in the driveway after church.  We love to walk home from church and explore on the way home.
When we got to the Neumann's there were lots of new baby goats.
The little kids had so much fun playing with and chasing the goats.
The kids all love to play up at the farm.  There is so much to explore.

Stockton driving the tractor.

The spring this year was so beautiful.  We had a great time and love being able to be outside so much!

Turning 2!

I can hardly believe that my babies are already 2!  These past couple of years have FLOWN by.  It is so fun to watch them grow and start to figure things out.  They are talking all the time these days.  About a week before they turned 2 Stockton started climbing out of his crib.  The first morning it kind of scared me because I just heard somebody walking around the house.  Now we are used to it and he usually climbs out and plays for a few minutes in his room before he ventures into mine.
We had a birthday party at the park with friends and family.  Sadie enjoying her ice cream cone.
Stockton looks all grown up with his hair cut.

Stockton is getting so big he can eat it all by himself:)
Blowing out candles.  This year Stockton didn't burn himself on the candle so that is a plus!
They loved opening up all of their presents.

While they were opening up their presents we snuck their new 4-wheelers behind them.  When they were all finished we told them to turn around.  They both started running and screaming.  It was the cutest thing EVER!  I was so sad that I didn't get it on video.

Getting ready to go down the slide.
Playing with Papa at the park.

Doing under doggies on the swings.  The kids LOVE it!

We had a great time at the party.  It was a beautiful evening and fun to have lots of family and friends!

Spring Break

We had a great spring break.  We got to have some of our cousins that live far away come and stay for awhile and that is always fun.
To start the week off we went up to SUU to watch the SUU v. BYU gymnastics meet.  It was really fun and we got to go meet cousins there.
The one down side was the weather...it was snowing (which is definitely NOT my favorite thing)!  Ben stayed home with the twins so I had to brave the drive with just the girls.  I haven't gotten much wussier since my college days in Logan:)
Stockton was able to get a much needed haircut.  This is his second hair cut and Sadie has yet to have had one .  Why is it that my little boy has WAY more hair than any of my little girls have had/or have at this age?
Ben also got a much needed hair cut.
On one of the days a bunch of the cousins came to our house to play.  I somehow convinced then that picking up the pecans off of our back lawn was kind of like doing an Easter egg hunt.  They all got excited and spent several minutes cleaning up the nuts off the lawn:)
Sadie and Stockton even had lots of fun playing with their cousins.
When my sister got to town all the girls in my family went to lunch and then went to get a pedicure.  It was so nice:)
One morning while we were watching grandpa vacuum the pool the kids decided to have a "who can keep their feet in the freezing cold water the longest" contest.  Emma did awesome and out lasted all of the older kids.  She was quite proud of herself!
I also finally got around to painting my barrel train cars.  They turned out so cute.  I can't wait to try them out now that they all look so cute!
Once Stockton got in he was NOT going to get out.  he sat there for a long time while everybody else kept playing!
It was great to have a week off to spend with my kids and with our families.  I LOVE this time of year!
