Christmas Day

Christmas day was so much fun!!! I can't imagine Christmas without my children, they make it so great. I love to watch their excitement and their little faces when they are opening their presents, so precious. Derek had absolutely no interest in opening presents, he just stood by his horse that Santa brought him and played with an orange.(An elf leaves a piece of fruit at the bottom of the kids beds to let them know that Santa had been at our house). Daisy and Durban loved their toys and I think they may have had more fun unwrapping their presents than the kids! After we opened presents, we went to my parents for breakfast and opened presents there. Then we came home and sat around and played all day long, so fun!

Chrismas Eve

We went to my parents for Christmas Eve dinner. We had turkey, potatoes, stuffing, and pumpkin pie. My mom is the best cook, and I make the best pumpkin pie ever(not meaning to brag). The kids opened up their matching jammies and we all just hung out.

Christmas Cookies!

So, this is so late. Every year, we make Christmas cookies to leave out for Santa. Grandma Joan came over and helped. It was so much fun! Derek cut out his very first gingerbread man.

Let It Snow!!!

Ethan, Ky, and Blake played out in the snow today. It took forever to get them into their snow clothes, and then Blake only lasted about 3 minutes outside. He was not thrilled about getting wet and cold. Ethan and Kylie built a snowman riding on a bike, it was super cute!

These are 2 wonderful pictures of Sweet Lu playing in the snow in her pink parka. What a beautiful animal!!!

Our Fabulous Gingerbread House

Today we constructed our yearly gingerbread house. Adrian always puts it together and the kids decorate it with him. It was so much fun! Ethan, Kylie, and Blake are at the best ages to do fun things, I love it!

Dereks Orc Face

For a while now, Derek has been making this very strange face and I finally got photos of it. He scrunches up his nose and makes some sort of weird snorting/sniffing sound. He reminds us of an Orc from Lord of the Rings! (Please pardon the nose crusties and the mouth dripping milk.)

{Jamie} These Are For You!!!

At Jamie's request, I have posted some photos of a cat in various costumes. This cat goes by the name of Arpeigio. No, really this is my mothers stuffed cat who she loves very much. So much, that she spends a good amount of money on his small outfits. She wanted me to take some photos for her so that she could make a montage for her wall. (No, I am totally joking!!!) She is putting the pictures in a book for a little autistic boy in one of her classes. He loves Arpeigio and is going to be so happy! My mom is the sweetest person ever! I just hope she never becomes a crazy old cat woman!

Oh! What A Lou!

Have you ever seen such a Lou?! Yesterday was my lovely Daisy's 3rd birthday and she had such a great time! Grandma Joan made her a fabulous card and gave her a pink fleece blanket with black paw prints on it(so super cute)! We gave her little gingerbread man toys to have as her babies(she always sleeps with a baby). Jamie brought over her birthday hat tonight and we had cake. Her birthday hat was so dang cute! It was so Daisy! Daisy got to taste her cake and we got lots of darling photos! I love you so much my little Lou Lou Poo-pants, best friends forever!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We had a great day. We went to my moms and ate a very wonderful dinner! My mom's dressing is the best in the world and Adrian LOVES her turkey gravy. One of my moms Thanksgiving traditions is to have everyone dress up like Indians and take photos. Ethan, Kylie, and Blake dress up and do Indian dances with my mom. She is the funnest! I am so very thankful for my wonderful family. I love them more than they will ever know. I am so happy to have had my grandparents here for another year, I love them so much! Also, it was so fun to be able to spend Thanksgiving with my sister, her husband and their twins. I love those babies! Most of all I am thankful for my Adrian, for being the most patient and loving husband and for my beautiful children, who I absolutely adore!

Sweet Little Family

Last Saturday, we went and did family pictures with my sisters family. She took mine, and I took hers. They turned out pretty dang cute. Derek wasn't really being a team player, but at least there were a few really cute ones of him. After we were done having our family photo taken, I took some really cute ones of the kids playing around. We were supposed to take the photos at Garden Park in Salt Lake, but we got kind-of lost and some guy gave us directions to some weird little fireplace park, It totally reminded me of the Blair Witch Project movie! Still, the pictures turned out to be pretty good!

Durbans Super-Fabulous Birthday Hat!

Durbans birthday was on Halloween and we celebrated by having pizza and pumpkin pie. He received a few gifts, but the best were from my mom and Jamie. My mom made him the cutest birthday card with a dog on it that looked just like him, and it said all these things that described him on it. My favorite ones were Wiener dog, Lap dog, and Toenails dog(because Durban has total bear claws!) My sister made him this adorable hat(as pictured above). It was the cutest little thing. It was like the one she made for Derek but miniature. Thanks mom and Jamie for loving my sweet little wiener dog. After Durbans birthday extravaganza, he got up on the couch, and took a little nap. Partying totally poops him out! I love you my special little Durban dog!

My Little Spooks

We had such a fun Halloween! Derek was an adorable little pumpkin, Blakey was Tigger, Kylie was a witch, and Ethan was just something really creepy. Adrian helped Blake and Kylie carve their pumpkins, and Ethan carved his own this year. They turned out so great! Grandma Joan came over and we had pizza and pumpkin pie. Then Adrian took the kiddies Trick-or-Treating. They came home with so much candy!
*oh, and it was Durbans birthday, so there will be more photos!

One year ago today my sweet little Mr. Boobers came into this world. I can't believe how fast time has gone, it is so sad. I would really love to keep him little forever and ever! I am so blessed that he came to me, I absolutely LOVE being his mommy! Boobers, you are the happiest little boy and so cuddly and lovey. Having you in our lives has been so delightful! We love you more than all the rice in China!!!

Yea! For Cousins!

Today was my niece, Abby, and my nephew, Brysons birthday. We went to the castle park and had a picnic and played on the playground. It was so perfect and pretty in the trees, so I had to take a ton of pictures. I am so happy to have my sister and my beautiful niece and precious nephew back. My kids love spending time with their cousins. Happy Birthday Abby and Bryson!!! We love you so very much!!!
