With an active Apple Music subscription the Music app allows you to download songs previously added to the Library for offline use. However, the song menu does not reflect the downloaded/not downloaded status of the song without a screen refresh. We have reproduced this issue in both iOS 18.3.1 (22D72) and iPadOS 18.3.1 (22D72). Steps to reproduce: 1. Log into the "Settings" app --> iCloud account --> "Media and Purchases" section of an iPhone using an Apple Account with an active Apple Music subscription. 2. If enabled, turn off the "Settings" app --> "Apps" --> "Music" --> "Downloads" --> "Automatic Downloads" setting. 3. Open the Music app. 4. Tap "Search" and search for a song that's not already in the user's Library. 5. Tap the three dot menu of the chosen song and select "Add to Library". 6. Go to "Library" --> "Songs" and search for the newly added song using the search bar at the top. 7. Tap the three dot menu of the song and select "Download". 8. After the song is downloaded, tap the three dot menu of the song again. Expected results: The menu should reflect the new download status of the song and display the menu item "Remove…" among the others menu items. Actual results: The menu does not reflect the new download status of the song and displays the same menu items as before including "Delete from Library" and "Download". Additional details: – To fix the song menu it is enough to cancel the search by tapping "Cancel" in the upper right corner and perform the search again. You can also go back to "Library" and enter the "Songs" section again. – The same problem is present (i.e. the song menu is not updated) when removing a download of a song. •UPDATE 2025.02.17• The issue is still present in both iOS 18.3.2 (22D82) and iPadOS 18.3.2 (22D82).
