Giving Birth: The Most Painful Yet Beautiful Thing I’ve Ever Experienced
Hi, it's been a while since I've updated anything on my personal blog. This time, I think I'd like to share my first pregnancy & labour experiences for the sake of memories. Long entry ahead! I got married at 27 to the love of my life, pregnant at 28, and finally became a mother at 29. It was actually an unplanned pregnancy & unexpected one due to lean PCOS (what a surprise!), but I remember praying to have at least one child before turning 30, so I guess my prayers came true? Giving birth is the most painful thing I’ve ever done and yet, alhamdulillah , everything went smoothly and quickly. The night before my baby's arrival, my husband and I went out to IOI Mall nearby to claim our free Boat Noodles and ate some Auntie Anne's sour cream pretzels (my all-time favourite). Walking around the mall and window shopping even if I didn’t buy anything had become my regular activity in the late trimester to help induce labour naturally. Let’s face it, I was tired...
