Country Christmas Barn Star: 2 Star versions

 Hi crafty friends! I'm continuing with Christmas in July with Spellbinders and today I am sharing 2 versions of a card using the Country Christmas collection designed by Annie Williams. this collection features 5 die sets, one sentiment set and a 3D Embossing folder. This gorgeous star is from the Barn Star Wreath die set. This set features a stunning large star with 2 decorative inserts/designs and lots of gorgeous accessories! The star is designed with score lines down the center allowing for a dimensional star when folded or kept flat.

I kept my cards mostly the same, switching up the sentiments and with 1 showing the star flat and the other folded as a 3D element. 💥Scroll down for a close up showing the 3D.💥

My background is from the Wood Textures 8x8 paper pad by Craft Consortium which I thought highlighted the star perfectly. To add a bit of sparkle, I used the glitter and satin cardstock pieces from the Ruby Assorted Treasured Cardstock pack. I love how these turned out!

Spellbinders Christmas in July: North Pole Friends Collection

 Hi crafty friends! We're continuing with Christmas in July with Spellbinders and today I am sharing a mini slimline card using North Pole Friends Collection. This collection is designed by Simon Hurley and features 5 adorable Christmas die sets, a Penguin, Snowman (and Sentiments), Polar Bears, Santa and Elves! So adorable!

 These adorable snowmen are from the North Pole Sentiments die set. This is the sentiments set for this collection and features 6 sentiment options, a cute pole to post them to and a cute snowman with lots of accessories!

For my background, I ink blended with Distress Oxide inks and used some White Splatter. I die cut my snow bank from white cardstock to give the snowmen a place to sit. 

 You'll notice the 2 snowmen on the ends are holding a candy cane and a Christmas card, these are from the Yuletide Ride die set. I just thought they need a few gifts to present 💖 I added Sparkle Splatter Effects to the teal hat and scarves to give it some shimmer!

Yappy Birthday Shaker Card

 Hi crafty friends! I'm here today with a fun shaker card featuring the new Leaping Dachshund die from the new Dog Days of Summer collection by Poppystamps!! Scroll down for a short video and complete supply list. 

I recycled stamp packaging and created a slim profile shaker element. To start, I inked blended the background with light blue ink and added some gold splatter. I sealed up 3 sides and then added a variety of sequins, sealed it up the top and adhered it to a card base.

I had the cute doggie leaping across the shaker element carrying a fun birthday balloon. I love how this turned out!

Spellbinders Christmas in July: Wonderland Collection, pt 2

Hi crafty friends! Today I'm sharing another card from the Wonderland Collection using color inspiration from the Holiday DIY extension pack! To see my first card from these collections, you can check it out here.

THE SNOW NOTES DIE SET AND HOLIDAY DIY EXTENSION PACK
 

Just look at these adorable caroling snowmen! Snowmen are my absolute favorite! I used the The Snow Notes die set and the fabulous color combo from the inspiration photo (see below link list for the colors). I LOVE my DIY Color Deck and the Holiday extension did not disappoint with 12 cards featuring fabulous holiday artwork.

 For my background, I used the Flurry of Snowflakes 3D embossing folder and embossed Windy cardstock. I die cut the 3 snowmen and popped them up with foam squares and trimmed the ends. I assembled their scarfs and buttons using the colors from my DIY Color Deck swatch. I added Sparkle Splatter Effects to the snowflakes to give it some shimmer! I love how this turned out.

 Hi crafty friends! It's Christmas in July! If you're like me, you wait every year for all the wonderful Christmas releases this month. Today is the day that Spellbinders released all their Christmas in July collections!

YULETIDE RIDE DIE SET AND HOLIDAY DIY EXTENSION PACK
 

Just look at this adorable car with its Christmas haul! I used the Yuletide Ride die set and the fabulous color combo from the inspiration photo. I LOVE my DIY Color Deck and the Holiday extension did not disappoint with 12 cards featuring fabulous holiday artwork.

 After choosing my colors, I die cut all the elements in all the colors. This allowed me to mix and match them and have plenty left over for extra cards! I kept this one pretty simple with no layers for easy mailing!! Stay tuned over the next few weeks as I will be sharing more inspiration!!
