t's Monday morning ! Thought I would test out a couple of fabric choices and seam allowances for Maple and Eucalyptus.

I've been enjoying flipping through and reading the pattern and instructions :)

Today I gave blocks 3 and 18 a go, without a frame.

A churn dash ! Seam ripper ! How can that happen ! I'm the only one in the room ! Distractions ? have to laugh ! 

White on white ! right side wrong side ! Are quilters and those that do embroidery the only ones who enjoy using these fabrics even though you can't tell them apart from a distance ? I sure am :)

I have the book Bad Girls throughout History by Ann Shen 100 remarkable Women who changed the world. I thought I'd go through the book as I make the blocks. 1 page per person makes for my type of history lesson.

I'll be using solids combined with Tilda's Pie in the Sky and maybe see what the new Tilda Bloomsville Abloom blenders looks like. That's the plan right now. But plans can change of course !

Taking this challenge !

This caght my eye when they started talking about it last year! It has stayed with me as a this would be a fun challenge not only in sewing but with the Internet/Social media Sewciety Gnome posting photo's contact.

So I ordered the pattern !

This time I really wanted the real thing, not a PDF.

This is one amazing, well written project !
