Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas from the Boster Family!

We've had a wonderful year and are loving our home in Farr West, Utah. Here is a little update on our family!

James, 8, is smart and sweet and a great big brother. He enjoys 2nd grade, absolutely devours books, loves robots and chess, and enjoys playing the piano and organ.

Ella, 4, is a happy helper. She enjoys going to preschool and loves playing with her brothers, holding her baby sister and playing the piano with Mommy.

Ollie, 2, really grew up this year and was lucky enough to get a baby sister for his birthday! He is obsessed with rockets, bouncy balls, dinosaurs, construction trucks and Little Einsteins.

Norah, almost 8 months, is our little sweetheart. She has the best smiles and big blue eyes, is happy and sensitive and loves to scoot and roll everywhere and grab anything in sight.

Jonathan is enjoying being done with school and being an optometrist! In his spare time he loves to spend time with Jenny, play Legos with his kids, play the piano and organ, and go indoor skydiving.

Jenny is loving being a mommy to her four kids (and still trying to figure out how to juggle everything!). She loves going on dates with Jonathan and in her spare time enjoys working on her piano teaching website, theplayfulpiano.com.

We are so grateful for your friendship and love! We wish you a very merry Christmas and hope that you will feel our Savior’s love in your life during this holiday season and throughout the new year.

Love,
The Bosters

P.S. Attached is a piano/organ duet we played in church last Sunday that we wanted to share with you! – our “real-life” home version is complete with high chair banging and screaming kids in the background. Hope you enjoy!

If I could freeze time...

If I could freeze time, I would keep

his six-year-old giggle
when something is hilarious
the way his glasses never stay clean
his missing-tooth grin
and the way he still holds my hand
and squeezes it tight
while walking into his big school

her wild, pretty hair
always in her eyes
that she combs and combs while looking in my mirror
her gap-toothed grin
and smile of glee when I walk in the door
her non-stop chatter quickly replaced
by bashful thumb-sucking in public

his big, big blue eyes
full of love for his Daddy
his sweet chubby cheeks
that I could kiss forever
his sweet sleeve-sucking to comfort himself
and the cute army crawl that gets him places
up and over my lap and back again

the rest of June 2013

Summer is so fun! We had a great time having James home all day. The kids had a blast playing together!

I love my boys in their stripey pajamas.

Here is Ella wearing my FAVORITE outfit from when I was a little girl - my penguin outfit!

James loves his palm tree shirt. We always play the palm tree game while driving around town - when you see one you call out "palm tree!" and you get a point. You also get points for seeing a cactus - James is really good at finding them! (We are easily entertained....)

Just hanging out on a summer day.

The kids spent most of their summer in the backyard playing with water. This was a typical scene...

Sweet baby getting big!

We swam in our little pool practically every day.

More water fun. Ella owns lots and lots of swimsuits - she loved picked out which one to wear each day! (Dollar Tree has the cutest little swimsuits for babies/toddlers! And only a dollar!)

My boys

Getting smiley!

Oliver is the sweetest most patient baby. He is my little buddy! I loved this little tie shirt on him.

Ella is lots of fun :)
