Conner's 8th Birthday Party!

We decided to have Conner's birthday party a little later since his actual birthday was the day before spring break started.  He had lots of fun with his friends playing basketball, football and of course, the candy bar game ;)

I can't believe my little Conner is already 8 and going to be baptized!  He is such a goof and brings lots of laughter into our home.  He is so good with his little brother too, its been fun to watch him take on the role as a "big brother"

Carson's 10th birthday!

I can't believe Carson is already 10! We have decided to do simple birthday parties now that the boys are getting older. He invited some friends over to the park to play football and the candy bar game. I love that my kids like to play the candy bar game..it's something I used to do at my birthday parties growing up ;) He got a few fun gifts and some money from his friends. We are so happy to have this sports crazed little boy in our family! 

More Halloween!

 Just playing a little catch up! I'm obviously WAY behind on my blog but want to get it up to date so here are some more pictures from Halloween of 2011.  We had fun carving pumpkins with some cousins and frosting cookies!

The kids had fun Halloween night trick-or-treating.  Carson had hurt his foot a couple of days before though, so we ended up pushing him in a stroller ha ha.  Cant miss out on trick-or-treating right? :)

Class Parties & Trunk or Treat

I always love being able to go to my kids' Halloween parade and party to take pictures.  Conner's kindergarten class combined with all of the other classes and had a few fun games and crafts.  Carson's party was fun too with a mummy wrap, treats and crafts.

That night our ward did their annual Trunk-or-Treat.  They had a yummy chili dinner, photo booth and then of course the trunk or treat.  We got lots of candy!

Staheli Farm!

We decided to go to the Staheli Farm and corn maze.  It was so much fun!  The kids loved all of the fun things to play on there.  We didnt last long in the corn maze because we didn't want to get lost but it ended up being such a fun night!

Dixie Round-Up!

We had fun at the Dixie Round-Up again this year!  We didn't end up staying the whole time though because it gets too late for a school night but the kids had fun watching the rodeo and eating yummy treats!

Pioneer Day!

For Pioneer Day weekend we headed up to the cabin and spent some time in beautiful Duck Creek! We rode the 4-wheelers, made s'mores, sang songs around the campfire (ha ha, not really), ate yummy food, went on a hike, and played games. It was a fun weekend with the fam!

4th of July!

We had a good 4th of July and got to spend it with my family. First we had breakfast at my parents with Kelli and her kids and then we headed to the splash park so the kids could play. A few of us saw Transformers 3 and then we had a yummy BBQ and lit off some of our fireworks. On our way home we decided to stop and watch the big fireworks...it was a pretty fun day!

Quick Trip

Kevin and Binny took a trip to Salt Lake for a couple weeks (from Sacramento) so we decided last minute to head up there overnight to see them. We had so much fun swimming at the hotel and then went to Kneaders for dinner. Both of my kids were feeling sick most of the day and Carson decided to barf while we were eating..so fun! We missed out on temple square but got the kids to bed and they felt better the next day. We went to Trafalga the next day and then grabbed cafe rio for lunch and headed home! It was a fun little trip but so good to see our family we don't get to see often!

Lagoon Trip!

So at the beginning of the school year I told Carson if he didn't ever pull his card I would take him to Lagoon. We planned out a little trip and headed up to Salt Lake for the weekend. We were so lucky to be able to stay with my fun cousin Brooke at her beautiful house! Saturday was spent at Lagoon. The boys weren't big on riding a ton of rides but we rode a lot of the smaller rides and they LOVED the train ride. Both were scared on Puff the magic dragon (I think they have their dad's fear of roller coasters!) ha ha silly boys!

It was a fun weekend, although it did rain all day Sunday when we planned to go to temple square...we will have to go again for sure though! Good job Carson on being such a good student, keep it up for 2nd grade!

Hawaiian Party!

The last week of school the first grade teachers did a fun little Hawaiian party. I decided to stop by and take some pictures! They rotated through each class room and did some hula dancing, made fruit kabobs and got to play some games. It was a really fun way to end the school year!

Conner's Preschool Graduation

I can't believe Conner is all graduated from preschool! I'm still in denial that he is going to kindergarten and I keep telling him that he needs to wait another year ;)

His graduation was really cute though, they sang a bunch of songs they had been working on for weeks. Then he was presented with his little diploma and got some yummy treats too!

Carson's First Grade Program

Carson had his little first grade program and they sang some patriotic songs. For some reason he was so nervous the whole time and was just struggling to get through the program without crying. He mouthed to me that it was because I was video taping him so towards the end I stopped and he did better. Whatever the reason it was just so sweet that he was trying not to cry, I think he gets a little nervous in front of big crowds. I can't believe he is already finished with first grade and onto second grade soon!

Easter Weekend!

{April 21st}

We were SO excited to have the WHOLE family together for Easter weekend! We did a BBQ at Jake and Kara's house and the kids had fun playing different games and then we made s'mores for dessert.

{April 23rd}

Kelli and Lance's neighborhood did a little Easter egg hunt up at their church so we all were lucky enough to go. Conner wanted to wear his batting gloves (funny boy!)

Later that afternoon we decorated eggs. Binny had a fun kit that we used where you put the egg in a bag and just rub different colors on the eggs. Way easier and cleaner :)

(Carson likes to show everyone that he can touch his nose with his tongue, ha ha)

Then we had ANOTHER egg hunt and Grammie even put money in some of the eggs. The kids were so sweet at the end and made it so everyone had an even amount of money :) Lizzy had way more than the other kids and she was so sweet to share so willingly.

{April 24th}

EASTER DAY!

Carson woke up before Conner (surprise, surprise)...so he was very anxious to find his Easter basket. When Conner woke up they found them pretty quick. Then I had set up a scavenger hunt for them to find at the end a clue that we were going to DiSnEyLaNd!

They didn't quite get what was going on but after we got their little bags packed they were very excited and we left later that day...it was a FUN way to celebrate Easter!

I was sad we didn't get to go to church and celebrate the real reason for Easter but I do just want to say that I am more than thankful and feel so blessed for our Savior and all that He did for us. I know He lives and loves us so much and wants us all to return to Him one day. I am grateful for His loving sacrifice for all of us!

Carson Baseball

Carson started machine pitch baseball and these are some pictures from his first game. He's been doing really well and liking it a lot!
