Time to Blog!

So I guess it's just about time for us to update everyone on what's going on with the Huebner's. Karlos has successfully finished his first semester of med school, 1 down, 7 to go!! :-) He is REALLY enjoying having some time off (I'm JEALOUS)... I don't really get any time off at all. Today he got to shadow a Neurologist at St. Joes and definitely came home all smiles.
I am excited to announce that I have FINALLY finished my associates degree and my mom is taking us out to the Melting Pot tomorrow night to celebrate, I can't wait!
How do you post this on a blog? Most of you probably already have heard but, Karl and I are expecting! We're super excited/nervous/scared but we are definitely looking forward to meeting this new little person! The baby is due June 30th.

We hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas!

It's been a while...

Just a quick update on our lives!!! Karl is LOVING med-school and we are very excited for him because he finished his masters in Physiology last month -----> WOO HOO!! We're glad that's over with!
Here is a picture of Karl, his sister Katherine, and our cute cute cute nephew Carson at Karl's white coat ceremony...

Doesn't he look GREAT in that white coat?!?! I think so!!

We recently got to take a little vacation.. we headed out Labor day weekend up to Flagstaff and enjoyed the cool weather. We went to the Grand Canyon and to the Meteor Crater - we also got to spend some quality time with Gran, Makena, Grandpa Dave, and even got to see some/most of the Kelly's. We had a wonderful time and I was sad to come home.
Until next time..... :)

Rocky Point

We got out of town for a few days for a well needed vacation last week. We were invited to go to Rocky Point with the Rogers family and had a FANTASTIC time. THANKS CHASE AND CAIT FOR INVITING US!!! We LOVED the dolphins the most! I'm sad I didn't get any pictures of them, but here are a few from the trip...

Karl & Chase bringing in the boat.

The Beautiful sunset.

Me, looking for seashells, I found a tiny little baby crab!

Can you see it?!

Karlos looking HOTT.

Looking for more shells with Chase and Caitlyn.

Chase was the only one of us that caught anything and it was a tiny little rock bass. He released it but, I'm pretty sure we found it dead the next morning, washed up on the beach.

Univeristy Of Arizona!!

Well... Karl ended up getting accepted to the DO school in West Virginia. We were pretty sure that was where we were going to end up going. But last week Karl got an email from the UofA accepting him for 2009 - the next day we got a hard copy of the acceptance in the mail. We are so excited we get to stay in Tucson and be close to family and friends! We don't have to move! I think Karl and I are both still in shock, but very, very happy!!

2009 is going to be a great year!!!!!

2008 was a hard one. Mcat, med school apps, and other things. It also brought many blessings. I got accepted to West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine! I am ecstatic! For me, 2008 will always be a great year! A dream is coming true. Stacy and I are still waiting to hear from the Arizona schools though. I loved West Virginia when I interviewed there. I think it would/will be a great place to go! What does this make me think? Anyone can do anything, just work hard!
So... I was just wondering if any of you noticed something very similar between our future president and myself... Look close!!!

Did you figure it out yet?!
