How to install Xcode 4.1 in the specific folder where you want

  1. Install Xcode 4.1 from Mac App Store.
  2. Launch the installer directly and install as usual. 
    $ open /Applications/Install\ Xcode.app/Contents/Resources/Xcode.mpkg
