On TV this Sunday: Downton Abbey offers up a proper review in advance of Season 3, Revenge does the time warp again, Family Guy puts a little Depp in its step and Treme tosses its final beads of the season. As a supplement to TVLine’s original features (linked within), here are 10 programs to keep on your radar.
PREVIEW | Once Upon a Time‘s Emma Faces the ‘Impossible,’ Hook Dares Cora to [Spoiler] Him
8 pm Downton Abbey Revisited (PBS) | Angela Lansbury (Murder, She Wrote) hosts this 90-minute special featuring clips from the Brit series’ first two seasons, cast interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and a sneak peek at Season 3.
PREVIEW | The Good Wife Plus Stockard Channing Equals ‘Happy Thanksgiving’…?
9 pm Liz & Dick (Lifetime) | You’ve heard the hype, now witness the trainwreck TV-movie chronicling Elizabeth Taylor’s legendary, tumultuous romance with Richard Burton. Lindsay Lohan (Mean Girls) and Grant Bowler (Defiance) co-star (but you already knew that).
9 pm Revenge (ABC) | Victoria’s estranged mom (Carnivale‘s Adrienne Barbeau) visits, Emily embarks on her first Takeda mission and NolCorp’s just gone public in this flashback episode, which takes place in 2006. (Read preview and get a sneak peek!)
9 pm Dexter (Showtime) | Isaak’s got Hannah — will Dexter save her? P.S. Check out TVLine’s newest Performer of the Week.
9 pm Boardwalk Empire (HBO) | Gyp makes his move in Atlantic City (if it involves funnel cakes, it’s eerily similar to my traditional move in Atlantic City), and Nucky and Eddie are forced to seek refuge with Chalky.
9 pm Family Guy (Fox) | Lois experiences a mid-life crisis, and Peter tries to keep up with her new, wild lifestyle. Also, Johnny Depp makes a brief cameo as Edward Scissorhands.

10 pm Treme (HBO) | Season finale: Tim Feeny reveals himself and his intentions to Janette when he finds out she’s throwing an unauthorized benefit for Gigi’s, and Toni sees hope that Joey Abreu’s killer may be prosecuted. (Treme fans, you can rest (big) easy: The series will be back for a shortened final season.)
10 pm Homeland (Showtime) | Brody makes a necessary phone call before things spiral further out of control, Saul teams with Virgil and Max to dig up some information and Carrie prepares for the most important meeting of her career.
10 pm The Mentalist (CBS) | The CBI team looks into the murder of a real estate agent with gang ties. Guest stars include Monique Gabriela Curnen (Lie to Me) and Dan Gauthier (One Life to Live).

“Liz and Dick” will break all the ratings records for Lifetime. It’s gonna be a huge ratings hit! But Lifetime already knew that when they hired LiLo.
You kidding, Lohan sucks in this movie. I saw the promo she’s terrible.Lifetime is going to have low ratings for this movie. They were wrong to cast her, she’s a terrible actress and does not look a thing like Taylor
Totally agree……..heard really lousy feedback from critics……..they should have cast Megan Fox…..she looks like a young beautiful Liz. Not like old duck lips Lindsay!
I think people will still tune in, out of morbid curiosity. It’s train-wreck TV!
