Emerging from the hiatus...

A lot has happened. This is a teaser to bring me back from the other side....

Winter

Winter sucks. All I do is stare at the motorcycles in the living room and hope for an early Spring. 

However, some cool things have happened so far this winter. I got to see my brother after 1.5 years. I jammed at a scrimmage in Summerside and wasn't a complete failure. I have sampled 4 different moonshines. I started learning the process of making synthetic dreads. Overall, I'm not feeling entirely stoked about work (though producing some great shit!)but all the life stuff is pretty good.

Givin'er!

So much has happened since my last post.
I have been working so hard on Last Chance to Give'r, an art-fart motorcycle documentary. Been riding as many kilometres as I can in the past month in some pretty awesome and shitty weather.

It's crazy how much motorcycle adventures consume and change me. It is good. Really good.
I am lucky to have a riding partner like Jay. He is cool as a cuke. He's up for anything and I'm happy we get to share the insanity of the epic rides.

Homesteady

Jay and I have been out to clean and organize at the old Adams Homestead a couple times in the last 2 weeks and I have to admit, I love that place. How on Earth do I enjoy ridding 8 loads of linens of their mothball past? How can I love scrubbing musty, mildewy old trunks? Maybe it's the pay off of picking my food from a garden; maybe it's the freedom of being offline from my cellphone and internet. Either way, the homestead leaves us all feeling relaxed, calm, & happy.
I also got to put a few kms on Jay's motorcycle which is always a treat.

Put a ring on it.

Everything felt like it went wrong today and I'm just gunna go ahead and blame the fact that it's too hot to be alive.

Anyway, I took a couple photos of the most handsome creature I've ever known. I kept screwing everything up and was a bitch about everything today but he still suffered through my desire to take a portrait. 

He rules.
