Regarding the quality of HCC treatments, aggressive treatments are defined as those that improve the overall survival of patients with HCC in conjunction with the best supportive care (BSC); these treatments include
TACE, hepatic resection, and RFA as curative treatments, and chemotherapy as part of molecular-targeted therapies.
