H2O: Just Add Water (2006)
Really great show, unique, excellent acting, awesome special effects
I was just channel surfing and my digital box summary for the show read (almost exactly)"The story of three Australian teens that are able to transform into crime-fighting mermaids".- Crime-fighting mermaids? It sounded like a lame, animated, 7-year-old, kiddie, "Totally-Spies" copy television show. So I waited for the commercial break to be over while I was reading the show info. When the show came back, I started watching it. It was the pilot episode (I guess it was the premiere of the show on the channel). It was actually REALLY good. As soon as the episode was over, immediately went on youtube to see if anyone had posted some episodes.-I was NOT gonna wait once a week to watch the show.
I started to watch more on youtube and it was entertaining along with interesting plot lines in each episode.
This show may sound like a girly-bad acting show, but it isn't. The other great thing about the show is that the girls have almost no acting experience on television, yet their acting is believable not overdone at all.
All the special effects look totally realistic, unlike other shows for teens.
Even though I've only seen at least a total of 9 episodes (from both seasons), I strongly recommend this show! I'm not exactly a fan of adventure and fantasy, but I can't stop watching "H2O: Just Add Water"!
GO RIKKI, EMMA, AND CLEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 9/10
Camp Rock (2008)
Officially worse than "Raise Your Voice"
I can't believe I saw daylight. I actually found something worse than "Raise Your Voice".
This movie is HORRIBLE. Jonas brother can't act, the "amazing acts" suck, the plot is the same as "Raise Your Voice", and everything in this has been done before (includes the mean girl, the unpopular talent girl who is a "star", and the "cute" guy).
Not only does this movie suck, but the Jonas brothers shouldn't even be considered actors or dancers. They look awkward doing the dancing. Joe Jonas as "Shane Gray" was completely overacted and made him look like a diva, not a rocker.
This whole movie was to promote the Jonas Brothers. Trust me, it was an hour and a half of my life that I will never get back. If you hate the Jonas brothers, don't watch this. As for the JoBro lovers, I can't believe you think this movie is full of talent.

Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious (2008)
Clone-Remakes from "Search From the Next Doll" But Much Worse
This show is much worse than SFTND. Mainly, it's because the girls are clone remakes from SFTND and they all sound and look the same, but also because of what Robin Antin is doing.
Robin Antin is a woman who has horrible plastic surgery and wears clothes that teens or young women would wear, trying to look 17 again. She is also a woman almost 50-yrs-old, forming this group, probably because she is living through them and wants money.
Robin Antin is basically making another bad group like PCD, except the group has an unoriginal name and there are 3 girls only.
To be honest, I think think would actually be an okay group if the girls had more talent, were more unique, didn't dress the way they did, and had dance moves the were appropriate for all audiences.
What I don't understand is that Mikey and Robin say the girls shouldn't dance like strippers, but PCD and Girlicious already does that. Also what I don't get is that the show is too dramatic, and they keep saying that dancing like a stripper and singing slut-versions of classic songs is "helping them become a better performer" and "boosts their self-confidence".- LAME.
There was one episode where she has the girls perform for their "potential fans", which were young girls. If young girls actually like Girlicious, Robin is going to fill the image in their minds that this is how girls dance and perform in order to be successful.
Think about it, would you want a 7-15-year-old admiring sluts? 2/10
Zoey 101 (2005)
You will become annoyed of this show after some time
I like this show when I was ten. Now that I am way older now I see how fake and annoying this show is. It's the same thing every episode. After watching this for years as a tween I've noticed many things. Here's what is most likely to happen in all the episodes (the choices): -There's a contest with an expensive, awesome prize and Zoey always wins it -Zoey is an amazing designer and everyone loves them and asks her to design stuff for them -Zoey always thinks of the brilliant plans and they just so happen to work out perfectly every time -People on the show always ask what her ideas are for everything (can those people ever think for themselves?) -Everyone always needs her help in everything, like tutoring -All the guys at the school think Zoey is hot and have a crush on her -Zoey has perfect grades -Zoey is the only one with creativity If I didn't know any better I would've though Zoey was a Barbie doll...maybe she is! This show is obviously made for little girls, but I still think little girls see Zoey as too perfect and that the show gets predictable. If you are a person who doesn't like watching a fake ditzy person who is perfect, I recommend to watch something else. If you do like this show, ignore this review.
2/10
The Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll (2007)
Not the worst show ever, but...
I honestly think this is a show that makes girls think they have to dance like they do in the show in order to succeed in music. That isn't the truth.
PCD says they are 'sassy but classy' but I really don't think so. The judges tell the contestants not to dance like strippers, but isn't that what PCD already does? I think PCD can have those song lyrics, but they don't have to dance and dress like strippers.
PCD is just a group that flaunts their sexuality. Robin Antin should be ashamed of herself for creating the group and show.
Is there anything good about this show?-hmmmm....yes if you like to watch the drama on the show.
Grease: You're the One That I Want! (2006)
The Broadway American Idol
This show really is the Broadway American Idol. It has singing, the British Guy, A guy who's sometimes nice, and a super-nice woman.
Of course it is different because there is a sing-off, and there's dancing and some acting (we just don't see some of the acting).
I gave this show a 7 because there are a couple tweaks that I know a lot of people (including me)would make if they were working for the show. The first thing that really needs to be changed is the judges deciding who goes home. I know they want to find the right Danny and Sandy, but America should have the power to decide who does home. There's really no point to the sing-off. The person with the lowest number of votes usually goes home anyway. Another things I'd change is to see them actually act on the show. What's Broadway without the acting? The last thing that need to be changed is the song the eliminated people sing at the end. The eliminated Danny always sings the same song and the eliminated Sandy always sings the same song as they exit. Since they sing it every week those songs eventually get annoying.
I admit to not being a fan of the movie, Grease, but for some reason I am hooked. This show is very underrated. It has so many memorable performances and moments.
The Paper Brigade (1996)
We should now appreciate paper boys
Predictable, cheesy, and some of the acting could be better. Yet, This movie was hilarious. Gunther is a genius. From him all battered up on his first day of being a paper boy to him scaring a dog with a mask and home-made gear in the next couple days. I think I know now what paper boys go through.-Thanks to Gunther! The moment I saw this movie I liked it. I saw it about 6 years ago. It's been a while. It brings back memories. I laughed even harder than I did 6 years ago.
This is the perfect family movie. Not only will you laugh, you will be wishing you had the VHS.
The only issue I have with The Paper Brigade is that it was edited on TV. I knew there were some parts missing from 6 years ago. The real time is suppose to be 90 minute, but the edited version is 75 minutes. They left out a lot of funny parts. So, if your not laughing as hard...it's probably because you are watching the edited version.
Watch The Paper Brigade (the unedited version)! 8 out of 10
Ebbie (1995)
Ebbie rocks the Christmas holidays!
I've been wanting to see this movie for a while and I'm glad I finally saw it. It was worth waiting for. It's just such an amazing tale and I loved every moment of it.
The acting is excellent. Susan Lucci did such an amazing job playing a grouchy woman who turns heart-warming in the end.
Is this movie better than the real Scrooge?-Honestly, yes because I liked the modern touches. I thought the first one was too much of a bore.
If you are a person who loves Christmas, watch this movie. If you are a person who is like Ebbie, watch this movie. If you are a person who is a Taran Noah Smith fan, watch t his movie. If you love Susan Lucci, watch this movie. I am pretty much recommending this movie for anyone looking for something that can perk up their holidays.
Watch Ebbie......because this movie is a definite 10/10. The moment the movie starts you will fall in love with it.
Raise Your Voice (2004)
I'm raising my voice in the bad way
Yes. I'm pretty much screaming why I hate this movie. Here's why I didn't like it: 1. Too cliché.
2. If Teri's voice is so good why'd this movie do horribly? 3. Acting is bad in this movie.
4. Guys don't say 'stay away from me' 5. A lot of the times lip-syncing was not with words.
6. Sometimes when Teri sings, you can tell that's not her voice.
7. The plot line is too simple. Dad overprotective, lies and goes to a music school, falls in love with guy at school, dad sees daughter point of view....then done. It's been done before probably even in year 547 B.C.
8. The beginning looked okay, but then it got awkward after Teri meets Jay.
9. Teri cries too much about every little thing. Robin, Spotlights, Jay 'cheating'.
10. How can everyone at the same time all play instruments? 11. If you look on www.rottentomatoes.com , This movie always gets around 12%-24% by critics and users 48% 12. The dad is too over-protective.
13. On average.....this movie would've made a god Disney channel movie, not a nation-wide-premiere-all over the world type thing.
14. The only people who like this movie that I've known are people ages 6-10 15. Songs in movie were nothing but Cheesy GARBAGE!!! Those are my reasons. You can harp at me all you want, but I will still say this movie is bad. I could go on with reasons....but those are my top 15.
Grease 2 (1982)
Patricia Birch is the one who has the 'Rep to Protect'
To be honest, I didn't like the first grease. At all. The people looked scary. The only good part was that 1 or 2 of the songs were catchy. In this version, the people look better.
The thing that is bad about this movie is that the acting was terrible. Especially to part where Stephanie is on stage and tunes out into a type of heaven with 'biker-guy' aka Michael. All the songs were absolutely cheesy. The worst were 'Who's Thay Guy?', 'Reproduction', 'Let's do it For Our Country' and even 'Cool Rider'. But Michelle Pfieffer saved 'Cool Rider'.
I think this movie shows how desperate guys can be to get the girl of their dreams. I was amazed to see how low Michael would go for Stephanie.
Pat Birch should stick to Dance Choreography and only choreography. No directing. Just choreography. She should have let the original director do this movie even if she had to force them. What was she thinking putting Frenchie back and almost putting Kenickie in the movie? Frenchie in Grease 2 was a pathetic attempt to save the movie. I don't know about everyone else, but it's a very good thing that they didn't do 2 more movies and a TV show. What would the TV show have? Singing in every episode? This movie is just as bad as From Justin to Kelly, but what saved the movie was Michelle Pfiffer's 'Cool Rider' song and dancing, and that most people think Michael is 'Hot'.
If I was bored out of my mind, I'd consider going back to watch this movie. But for now, I am sticking with Napoleon Dynamite and Elf. Movies that actually did *WELL*.
High School Musical (2006)
Deserves the award for 'Most Boring Piece of Junk EVER!'
This movies was SO plain DULL. I heard how great it was, I go to watch it, and I was more than disappointed. I was bored stiff.
The songs were incredibly lame, the acting was cheesy, they made a failed attempt mix comedy, drama, and music together, and it pretty much altogether sucked out loud.
To the people who love this movie, I respect your opinion....I really do. To the people who agree with me...ROCK ON!!!!!!!!!!!!
Overrated? -yes. So unentertaining? -yes. Do I hate it? -yes. should they have used better better actors? -yes. Does this movie deserve a sequel? -no.
How was this ever movie made? All it takes is a camera, dancing, and singing.
And 2 all fan-girls: STOP OBSESSING OVER ZAC EFRON!!!!!! IT'S SO PAINFULLY ANNOYING!!!!!!
Home Alone 3 (1997)
Hey! I liked it!
It's actually not as bad as everyone thinks. I actually thought it was better than the first two. To be honest, I was actually bored of the first two because I've seen it too many times. To me, Home alone 3 never gets old. (Home Alone 4 was the flop PEOPLE!!!!!) The main reason why I liked it was Alex D. Linz. He's a good actor. The other reasons were because I thought the traps were funnier. (The only 'trap' that I liked in Home Alone 1 was when there was somebody at the door and Kevin used a tape to scare him off. He fast forward over someone talking and used the other parts to talk to the guy.) This time there were 4 bad guys. That meant more comedy. To me, thats a HUGE bonus.
Others may not like this movie, but to me, it's a 3 and a half star movie.
The Cheetah Girls (2003)
very weird movie
I used to like this movie a lot. But once you see it too many times it just gets old and boring. The part that threw me off was the end. The whole dog thing is just too weird for my taste. I just didn't understand it.
Aqua is suppose to have a twin (says in the book). Where's the twin?! Honestly, if they're going to do a movie based on a book, at least get it right! I found other parts unrealistic. Like the whole Jackel Johnson scene and about Chanelle's mom wearing her clothes. Normal? - I THINK NOT! I also thought it was insane How even though the girls are not in the talent show because Galeria quit, they end up winning! SO Cliché! I liked the songs. I even got the CD. I only listen to the songs that the Cheetah Girls do not sing. I think it's because I've heard it too many times.
Like I said, I used to liked this movie. But that was when I was very small. Now I see how unrealistic and boring it is, and overplayed on TV way too many times. The Cheetah Girls were suppose to have their own TV show but couldn't because Raven was too busy. It would've been interesting to see what that was like but at the same time I think it's a good thing there is no show.
Now that the Cheetah Girls are a real life group, I find it insane. It looks like they kicked out the third member of 3LW and replaced her with Sabrina Bryan. Evn if Raven decides to go into it, I don't think It'll be any better.
Canada's Next Top Model (2006)
Come On people! - give the show a chance!
This show isn't as bad as everyone thinks. I admit that Andrea should've been eliminated and that there were prettier girls that had more potential. I thought Heather, Ylenia, or Sisi had a better chance.
No one like this show because the girls are 'ugly'. Canadians are just like Americans. They are as good as anybody. The area Canadians are not as great at are commercials. Besides, if we're not cut out for modeling and all the other stuff, then why is there Avril Lavigne and Shania Twain out there? And you can't tell the difference between Americans and Canadians. You point them out on the street and say 'she's American, she's American, Oh! Look!-Canadian!'
The reason why I gave this show a 9 is because I don't think Tricia Helfer is a good host. Are there any other top Canadian models that are better than Tricia. Please- anyone but Tricia! She doesn't have a sense of humor like Tyra Banks. She's too serious. And, plus, no one has even heard of her.
My final verdict is, Canadians are just as good as Americans. The only problem with the show is the host and the models doing commercials. Get rid of Tricia and don't make them do commercial and we are okay.
One Small Hero (1999)
so bad!
No kid can take on twice his size...come on! I just didn't get it.The kid actually manages to save everyone from a bad guy. Normally, bad guys aren't so dumb. The way Hutch hits Baby is so fake! It was a touching movie but i didn't think it was all that if you know what I mean. I see why the kid actors haven't acted in anything else. Everyone I know hates this movie. It's hard to believe it actually made it on the air. Although I said this movie is terrible, it's not as bad as From Justin to Kelly. That was bad. I have to agree with someone else on this. The songs and hand-clapping games were nice touches. For all the future watchers of this movie, change the channel after you see a blonde kid with a baseball cap that he's wearing backwards. This is where its starts to turn terrible.
Home Improvement (1991)
love it!
I just think it's so funny! Tim makes jokes about Al on every possible thing, Tim screws up and he's the 'Tool Man', Wilson's face is never shown, Tim's boys do the most outrageous things, and Jill makes a big deal out of everything! You can't miss this! I recommend season 5 and 6. Get ready for laugh alert! This show is better than Family Guy. The only thing that bugged me was that JTT left. The show might have lasted longer if he stayed on the show and forgot about lame fan girls. I thought mark was better when he was younger. He had way more lines. In season 7 and 8, he only had five or six and sometimes one unless the episode is about him. He only had one line in the very last episode. Bummer. It is kinda funny that he turned Gothic. They really stereo-typed the family. That's what made this show even better. Anyone who said the hated this show....back the truck up!
Boy Meets World (1993)
best show ever!
my favourite episode is 'How Cory and Topanga Got Their Groove Back'. That episode is so unappreciated. It's hilarious! Eric thinks he has psychic powers and Cory and Topanga try to throw a party after Shawn says parties aren't their scenes. Can't wait to get the season 7 DVD. It'll take a while but at least there's such thing as taping. SEASON 7 EPISODES ARE ALSO UNAPPRECIATED. I gotta admit some episodes are gross because Cory gets into.......naughty things with Topanga but other than that this show is the best. Eric does seem to get dumber by the season by you do have to admit: Eric was a drag in season 1 and was really not as funny. He only had 2 good jokes in every season 1 episode. If anyone says they've never heard of this show...my response is: YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!
