Need to know which Edward Norton movie got the best reviews from critics and audiences? Well you have come to the right place….because we have all of that information.
Edward Norton (1969-) is an American actor, writer and director. He has been nominated for three Oscars® for his performances in Primal Fear, American History X and Birdman. His IMDb page shows over 35 acting credits since 1994. This page will rank 28 Edward Norton movies from Best to Worst in five different sortable columns of information. Television shows, shorts, cameos and movies that were not released in theaters were not included in the rankings.
Two of Norton’s greatest acting performances, American History X and Fight Club did not perform very well at the box office and have lower scores because of that fact. Some people might say my formula gives too much weight to box office results…..but ultimately the reason a movie gets made is for the producers/studios to make money and preferably a lot of money.

If you do a comment….please ignore the email address and website section.
Hey Steve….I think Fight Club is losing some of it’s luster with those pesky young people…I rechecked my sources…and it would still be in 6th place. Wes Anderson’s dog movie seems to be universally loved…I thought it was ok….but more than a little weird for my tastes. When I was looking at your video…I saw I had 29 movies and you had 30….it took me awhile to figure out the missing movie….but now Frida is on the table…and both have 30 Norton movies on our page/video.
Added Steve’s Edward Norton video to this page…our thoughts on his video and Norton found on his page…now found below here as well.
“Wow…Eddie get comment love. Rarely do I get to go first….but I will walk out on the ice first. I do not consider myself a big Norton fan, but I have seen 29 of these movies. My only miss, being #25 Down In The Valley…..and even that one seems vaguely familiar. Favorites would include the very recent #21 Motherless Brooklyn…I really enjoyed this one. #24 Sausage Party….fun movie…seems forgotten today…thought it would be a movie that gained a following as years pass. #10 The Illusionist….it’s not Prestige….but it is still pretty good. #7 Kingdom of Heaven….one of my all-time favorites and #6 Moonrise Kingdom…fun movie with a great cast. I respect his entire Top 5…but none are favorites….I was not blown away by Fight Club as so many others have been. Good video. Voted up and shared.”
Hi Bruce, thanks for checking out my Edward Norton video, the comment, vote and share is much appreciated.
Your tally of 29 out of 30 is excellent, I managed 17. I had a feeling Fight Club would still be no.1on his chart, I think it’s no.1 on your critics chart too. It’s ages since I last watched it.
American History X was one of his best roles, reading up on it I didn’t know it had been disowned by the director.
Looking at your critics chart, Fight Club has dropped out of the top 5, oh the humanity!
I remember how fanatical young people were about it when it was on release. Seems times have changed. I still think it should have been in your top 3 at least. Give that dog cartoon the boot. 😉
