Daniel Craig was godfather to Mark Strong’s child, an interesting titbit Bruce, have they ever acted together? I like Strong, they should cast him in a Bond movie, he can play good or bad or a mixture of the two.
So is Craig the highest grossing Bond in unadjusted dollars? Must be, the last two grossed nearly 2 billion dollars. Will he make another one? He’ll be mad not to.
I’ve seen 14 of the 28 films here. The top 12 on the UMR chart. I haven’t even heard of Fateless, why is that rated higher than Layer Cake or Defiance?
Skyfall no.1 of course, one of the best Bond films but I personally prefer Casino Royale. The new one Spectre doing well at no.4 especially after seeing that video you sent me. 🙂
Tomb Raider and it’s sequel are guilty pleasures, Jolie looks simply stunning in them.
I haven’t seen Road to Perdition in ages, time to watch it again, who was the director? [wink]
Nice work Bruce. Pierce Brosnan next? Voted Up.
Hey Steve.
1. Yep Strong and Craig were in Flashbacks of a Fool….a movie nobody seems to have seen.
2. Craig is not only the highest grossing Bond in unadjusted grosses…he is quickly catching up to Connery…who has an official 2 picture lead….3 count Never Say Never……then again….it sounds like Craig’s days as Bond might be over.
3. Fateless is his best reviewed movie….slightly ahead of Layer Cake….neither made any money here in the states….not sure how they did worldwide. Currently my worldwide box office section in my database is broken…so sad….and my tech help has not had time to fix it. Craig’s worldwide box office would have been a good thing to add….since he is more of an international star than a Hollywood star.
4. Tally count…you are at 14….I am at 19…though I confuse I do not remember his part in Elizabeth and Kid In King Arthur’s Court
5. His Casino Royale is my favorite too….though maybe Spectre will bump that when I finally see it….I will try and not let that video influence me.
6. So Craig is the 2nd Bond that has a UMR page…3 if you count Niven from Casino Royale. Brosnan or Moore (3 requests for him) could be next. Though a George Lazenby one would be easy to do…lol.
Thanks for the visit and the comment.
Fateless is his 4th best reviewed movie.
The first photo is one of my all time favourites. 28 movies and they are all good.
Hey Ellie….glad you like that photo. The water looks so clear and inviting….seems like a great place to swin…lol. Thanks for the visit.
Hi, Bruce.
I am glad you picked Craig over the other current day requests, even though I haven’t seen his Bond films.
I have no interest in anything the other two have done, even though I have seen one film between them.
I have seen Road to Perdition twice on the big screen. I saw it for Paul Newman.
Happy 48th birthday Daniel Craig.
Hey Flora…thanks for checking in on a current star….he is off to a slow start…view wise and comment wise. Road to Perdition is the movie where I first noticed Daniel Craig….have not seen it in awhile…probably time for a revist….thanks as always for the comment.
