Golf Movies Movies Can Be Ranked 6 Ways In This Table

The really cool thing about this table is that it is “user-sortable”. Rank the movies anyway you want.

  • Sort Golf Movies by the star of the Golf movie
  • Sort Golf Movies by actual domestic box office grosses
  • Sort Golf Movies by adjusted box office grosses using current movie ticket cost
  • Sort by how Golf Movies were received by critics and audiences.  60% rating or higher should indicate a good movie.
  • Sort by how many Oscar® nominations and how many Oscar® wins each Golf Movie received.
  • Sort Golf Movies by Ultimate Movie Rankings (UMR) Score.  UMR Score puts box office, reviews and awards into a mathematical equation and gives each movie a score.

  1. The only golf movie I enjoy where golfing is a main theme-i.e. I don’t think of Goldfinger as a golf film-is Caddyshack.

    1. Hey Flora….Caddyshack is a classic, I only put Goldfinger on the list because fellow hubber Steve Lensman strongly felt the movie should be included on the golf list.

    1. Hey mentalist acer….I assume you will be watching Caddyshack 1 and Rollerball the original….that sounds like a nice night of movies…..however a night of Caddyshack 2 and Rollerball remake…sounds like a long long night of movies….thanks for the comments.

        1. What a relief mentalist acer……I was worried that you might be watching Caddyshack 2 and the Chris Klein version of Rollerblade….lol…..by the way I have voted for you as best poet on hubpages on their new contest.
