Soccer Movies Movies Can Be Ranked 6 Ways In This Table

The really cool thing about this table is that it is “user-sortable”. Rank the movies anyway you want.

  • Sort Soccer Movies by the star of the Soccer movie
  • Sort Soccer Movies by actual domestic box office grosses
  • Sort Soccer Movies by adjusted box office grosses using current movie ticket cost
  • Sort by how Soccer Movies were received by critics and audiences.  60% rating or higher should indicate a good movie.
  • Sort by how many Oscar® nominations and how many Oscar® wins each Soccer Movie received.
  • Sort Soccer Movies by Ultimate Movie Rankings (UMR) Score.  UMR Score puts box office, reviews and awards into a mathematical equation and gives each movie a score.

  1. Hey Cogerson, considering I played indoor soccer last night i’d better mention the subject. Bend it like Beckham is one of the best all round movies ever moved on many different layers. It is about soccer, but much much more. I don’t need to explain Mr movies, as you will already know. But anyone else out there who happens to read this and hasn’t seen the movie, do so, as it is brilliant.

The dammed united is great too, depicting Brian Clough’s 44 days as the Leeds UTD manager. A big headed, loud mouthed, ex-brilliant soccer who’s goals per game ratio would be one of the highest ever, almost a goal per game. He had to retire aged 27 due to a knee injury.

Fever pitch, about soccer hooligans graphically demonstrates all the worst aspects of ‘so called’ soccer fans.

    1. Hey attemptedhumour….I remember that I watched Bend It Like Beckham…when I had this little crush on Keira Knightley…I was pleasantly surprised about how good the movie was…..I will have to see The Damned United as I do not think I have found a Michael Sheen movie that I did not like. I am glad you liked the hub and as always I appreciate your comments.
