Lando’s lips tick up into a tiny, pleased grin, and Oscar can’t help but kiss it off him.Oscar keeps kissing him while they wait for the lift, trying to memorize the feeling of Lando’s lips against his, the soft sigh Lando lets out when Oscar deepens the kiss. He wants to press this moment between the pages of a book, preserve the brush of Lando’s lips like a flower. Take it out and turn it over and remember exactly how this felt.

The lift dings and the moment’s over before it’s even really begun, Lando pulling back with a breathless expression, cheeks pink.

It’s moving too fast, Oscar thinks, letting Lando tug him into the elevator. It’s all moving too fast and he wants to freeze time, turn back the clock, rewind the trip to that first day in Nice. Fall in love with Lando all over again.

Maybe bc I’m such a naturally dramatic person but Lando’s post quali interviews are so like.. normal to me. They don’t even seem that sad 😩 Def don’t get the ppl saying it’s anti-champion mentality haha. Like can’t a girl just spiral publicly as a treat?! Literally me after a hard day at work. i also get it because i crash out spectacularly any time i lose anything. i remember losing a debate comp in high school and violently sobbing in the car ride home while telling my mom “i’m the dumbest person alive. like i shouldn’t be allowed to speak” and she was just like 😬 it’s an extracurricular activity… you do for fun… so anyway, i fully understand it. i also just feel like he can’t win with people. he’s confident and says he feels like he’s driving well and it’s not just the car and people say he’s cocky and not giving enough credit to the car, he blames himself and people say he’s being too self-critical. idk it’s just like. impossible for him to win atp with a lot of people
