Hey there, I’m Billy (they/he) I’m a college student, an aspiring author, and an occasional artist.

I reblog a lot, but I make posts occasionally! I tend to get super focused on one fandom at a time, but I do my best to give love to my other fandoms as well.

Fandom Ask Game

K - How do you feel about the other people in your current fandom?

Oh, lordy. I feel like that’s a very loaded question when it comes to the Batman fandom and the DCU fandom as a whole. I will say, there is far more fandom discourse in this fandom than any other I’ve ever been in, and I’m not a huge fan of conflict. However, I’ve found a small, lovely bubble of fans that I have fun talking with, so I’ll leave it at that.

M - Your favorite fanart or fanartist

But there’s so many good artists and so much good content!! Favorites are an overrated concept, I’m just gonna choose an art piece I love at random.

I mean, as far as artists go, @/ciricearts never misses (I didn’t wanna tag them, lmao). All of their art is fantastic.

N - Your favorite fanfiction or fanauthor

I’m looking at my hundreds of bookmarks like, you expect me to choose?? (/lh) I’ll narrow it down to my current three favorites (subject to change, of course).

As I’m deciding my favorites, I’ve come to the conclusion that I should just post a rec list or something because they’re just all so good.

I’m utterly obsessed with Damian Wayne’s Complete and Absolute Guide to Starting Over. It’s a delicious, in-progress longfic with loads of angst… and it’s Damian-centric, so of course I’m going to love it. Highly highly recommend!

borderline is another masterpiece that I’m extremely fond of. The Batfam gets connected in a mysterious hivemind. Very tasty, very good, one that I desperately need to reread.

Lastly, cuz I love me a good crackfic, Don’t Pick Up Children From the Trash Can. Aka, Bruce’s all of their bio dad AU. But I crack up every time I read it, so it goes on my favorites list.

yknow what annoys me about fanon, that Tim and Dick had ONE serious argument and suddenly they both hate each other somehow? Like, come on, that's Dicks little brother, and that's Tim Big bro, and his superhero.

And even then, in Red Robin we see Tim still being close as heck, they both love and respect each other despite their differences.

ITS LITERALLY IN THE COMIC THAT TIM DOESNT HAVE A CONTINGENCY FOR DICK BECAUSE HE WOULD NEVER HURT OR BETRAY TIM!!! LIKE COME ON
