PRU head coach and coordinator of GIR, Shakeel Ahmed Malik, said here on Friday that World Rugby and Asia Rugby are very delighted to see that the GIR is being implemented across the country and it has started producing good results to promote the game at grass-roots level.

Fonacier attributed the further decline in the GIR from $80.419 billion in October mostly to 'outflows arising from payments made by the national government for its maturing foreign exchange obligations as well as revaluation adjustments on the gold holdings of the BSP resulting from the decrease in the price of gold in the international market.'

The government submission before the high court said 66 properties in the sanctuary's buffer zone in Junagadh, Amreli and Gir- Somnath districts were illegal and operated in complete violation of the existing norms.
