In Character

You walk into City Hall, full of people working diligently for all Arcanus residents, especially its Echoes. The building is clean and sophisticated; footsteps echo off the marble floors as the sounds of phones and clacking computers mingle among the voices of bureaucracy.

The employees of the Ebenos Metal Arts Council and Residental Sectors are here to help you fill out the proper documents for Business Permits, Housing Permits (found in the marketplace), or get you set up with Jobs anywhere in Arcanus Isle.

Attached to this place is another building. Similar in decor though far more carpeted in comparison, is where the employees of Aevum Daily belong to. These writers, editors, and reports all work diligently to provide the latest and unbiased news to all the Isles of Aevum.

The employees are always looking for content to add to their papers, blogs, and news channels. If you have a business you want to Promote, a Personal Event, or want to share a message that others may want to hear, then this is the place to do it.

Welcome to Aevum Daily! The Marketplace sister blog, dedicated to Custom Businesses, Member Engagement, and Echo Interactions. The things found within this blog include:

News Reports

These are posts that act as ‘News Articles’, providing in-character prompts for people to engage with or make dash commentary on.
( ex. ‘Crystal Heights Mall is having a sale on t-shirts' )

Some reports may be miniature Quests that muses may take up to earn in-character currency with one another in threads, often provided by the Ivurie Adventurer’s Guild.
( ex. A herd of Sapeng is lost and the farmers are offering 500 keys for their return )

You may also submit ‘Articles’ about something your muse did that multiple people would have noticed occuring anywhere in the Arcanus Isle.

These are posts directly from the Echoes! If they own a Business that they want to advertise, they may submit it to Aevum Daily to be shared among the group for IC and OOC purposes.
( ex. Leillis Cookie Shop is having a Hearths Rising special on the hot cocoa cookies )

If an Echo is having a Large Personal Event such as a housewarming party, a wedding, or a special performance, you may submit it to the blog for an in-character way to spread the word.
( ex. Creo is hosting a celebration for the opening of new a park fountain. ~~No Echoes allowed~~ )

Job Center

Here you can find a list of the Echo Owned Businesses, including links to those side blogs and basic information about them.

Aevum Isles also offers Jobs already created among the various businesses with NPCs who own them. If you would like an officially sanctioned job with one of these locations you are more than willing to stop by and drop off an application here.

Through here, you may also submit your Custom Business to be officially recognized upon the Job Board. Upon acceptance, an announcement will be broadcast for the Isles to see.

Miscellaneous

Daily Quotes - If you read something you loved or laughed at in a thread, feel free to submit it to the blog! It will be posted as a “Poetry” section of the paper and is viewable in character.

Aevum birthdays - Send an ask to the blog (off or on anon) within a week of an Echo’s birthday, and they will receive a birthday wish from from blog, announcing it to the entire Isles (IC).

Aevum Polls - Every so often a poll may be posted for members of the group to engage with! These are harmless fun and can be used to start discussions among Echoes.

Arcanus Archives - In accordance with events, old articles and pieces of text my resurface. These can offer investigative Echoes a chance to learn new things about the world and aid them in understanding unusual events. How your echo comes about this knowledge is entirely up to you!
