Ryohei Arisu wastes away his days without any goal in life until he is forced into a dire situation in a strange world, where his observational and decision-making skills blossom.
Chisiya is an intellectual who emits an aura of calm, unlike Arisu. But he is not to be taken lightly, as he feels not shame manipulating people for his own benefice. He is the one to notice the unique skills Usagi and Arisu have.
Usagi is a young and athletic girl. As she was abandonned by her dad and left on her own since the beginning of the game, she finds a hopeless Arisu as he just lost his friend. She takes him with her and they never left each other's side since then, trying to survive the games, and the human beings.

ALICE IN BORDERLAND | 今際の国のアリス

Some new faces have been revealed to play in the Season 2 of the critically acclaimed japanese adaptation of “Alice In Borderlands”.
Yamashita Tomohisa will play Kyuuma Ginji, the “king of clubs”. You’ll see him play
against Arisu and the rest in a brand new “game” called “Sutori”. Kuma, who has a
strong charisma and feels the joy of living by winning the game. He is presented as a
role that has a great influence on Arisu.
Yamashita commented hotly, “It was a challenging role, but I think I was
able to immerse myself in the role both physically and mentally. It was
the hottest summer in my history.”
Tsunematsu Yuri will play Akane Heiya,
a high school student
who has some serious survival abilities,
and although does not choose any means to live, has a deep emotional side.
Isomura Hayato plays Bando Sunato
who appears in “Dokubo”, the game of “Knave of Hearts”, and skillfully
flutters the participants while wearing a suspicious atmosphere.
