In Tamil Nadu, there is a general inclination that in government hospitals, the patients are not treated adequately by the doctors, and government doctors concentrate more on their private clinic. The study objective is to find out job stress, workload, and long working hours influencing job satisfaction among the government hospital doctors of Tamil Nadu. The study sample comprised of 250 doctors working in government hospitals in Nagapattinam District. 250 Questionnaires were distributed. 155 were received back and considered for data analysis using SPSS version 22. The study results concluded that long working hours and workload have a positive relationship with job satisfaction. Job stress has a negative relationship with a government doctor's job satisfaction.

Employee turnover remains a serious issue among organisations irrespective of their size and natu... more Employee turnover remains a serious issue among organisations irrespective of their size and nature. In this sense, there is a growing interest in identifying the antecedents of employee turnover to enhance high employee retention. In line with this trend, this study aims to test the mediating role of job embeddedness in the relationship between organisational justice and employee turnover. A cross-sectional empirical study was carried out on stock broking dealers in Chennai city. Hundred and fifty-five participants completed the self-administered questionnaire. Pearson correlation and regression analysis was used to test the hypothesis. The study results indicate that distributive, procedural, and interpersonal justice perceptions relate to employee turnover and job embeddedness mediates the relationship between organizational justice and employee turnover. Business leaders and human resource professionals could consider the research results to implement employee retention strategies to enhance high retention within their organisations.

This study utilised both the Pearson correlation and regression analysis. Using a sample of 142, collected from employees across commodity broking organisations in the Chennai, procedural justice have positive and significant contributor explaining turnover intention, whereas distributive and interactional justice has insignificant effects on employee turnover intention. These findings have important implications for managers in formulating appropriate strategies to enhance employees' commitment to their organisations and to reduce their turnover intentions

However, increased rate of employee turnover has been a significant problem faced by Indian IT SME. Failure to address turnover causes is one of the reasons for the business failure of Indian SME's. One of the leading causes of employee turnover is commuting stress. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to examine the significant relationship between commuting stress and employee turnover in IT SME's Chennai. A structured questionnaire was developed and sent to 46 IT SME's in Chennai. 122 valid responses (24.4% response rate) were received and considered for data analysis. Multiple regression revealed a positive and significant relationship between commuting stress and employee turnover of Chennai IT SME's.

In Tamilnadu, there is a general inclination that in government hospitals, the patients are not properly treated by the doctors and Government doctors concentrate more on their own clinic. The purpose of this study is to find out factors that influence job satisfaction level among the workforce Government doctors of Tamilnadu and its effects on their performance. The sample of the study comprised of 200 doctors and nurses working in government hospitals in Nagapattinam District. 250 Questionnaires were distributed out of which 155 were received back and used for data analysis. SPSS version 22 is used for data analysis. The study results concluded that facets such as: pay and benefits, promotion, training and development, working conditions, job autonomy, relationship with co-workers, relationship with supervisor and stress affect the job satisfaction and doctors performance.
