“Hi friends! Thank you for taking the time to read this!
For the folks who don’t know me well, I’m Dimitri, I’m 22, I’m a transgender man and I’m currently a full time student studying to be a medical lab technologist. I love anything that has to do with science, Magic: the Gathering, drag queens, and music and I am here to ask for help from the world and the wonderful neighbors in it.

Ever since I started therapy in March 2020, I can feel myself blossom and unravel into the person I’ve always dreamed of becoming: confident, compassionate, vibrant, honest, loving, and bursting with weirdness! But I ask for help to be able to live as authentically as I can.

… I can’t feel comfortable showing my skin when it’s skin I hate living with.  I can’t dance, run, walk, jump, and simply have have fun doing physical activities because I am always reminded when I make any movement. It really pulls me out of reality and into my dysphoria, therefore not allowing me to be present in the moment. It’s a long and hard struggle I’ve been dealing with since I started going through puberty. I haven’t been in the ocean since I was a kid and I want to feel the water again. I want to able to just feel free as myself. It’s a struggle to constantly look in the mirror and only see what’s wrong with me, so it’s going to be the most liberating feeling to be able to look in the mirror and cry tears of joy overseeing the person I’ve always dreamed of being. It’s a blessing to even have a chance at that freedom with this gofundme, and I thank and love every single person that donates to this dream of mine…”
