Yeah, that's the very point of that book. One really should see it coming from the citation to Auguries of Innocence:
Every night and every morn,
Some to misery are born,
Every morn and every night,
Some are born to sweet delight.
Some are born to sweet delight, Some are born to endless night.
sorry 4 the delay........
1st of all since this is anidb I think we should stick wth detective anime or manga (just my opinion though)
@ greeksot, I watched the 1st ep of Elementary, wasn't that impressive.....I liked Sherlock better might wanna giv it a try (no offence Gorgils)......
@ Hinoe, Endless Night although not the best mystery it really messed with my head..........
Wait, is it hard to find works by the best-selling novelist in a given genre in your public libraries? Or are all libraries private or something?
This doesn't make sense.
Us Greeks aren't used to going to libraries, tbh I don't even know if there's an actual library closeby my home in Athens. The only one I could visit is my Uni's, which doesn't have any literature, but only scientific books and such. So, I'd have to obtain a physical copy of a book, usually old books are quite cheap, but right now I ain't got the money... Hopefully, a friend or relative could have what I need, though.
You ask something hard of me, my friend. For one, because many of her books are really good, and for another, because it's been so long since I last read many of them that I don't really recall them well.
However, I do remember by name a few that I found to be really good. In no particular order:
- The Murder of Roger Ackroyd
- Murder on the Orient Express
- Endless Night
- Death on the Nile
Don't let yourself read spoilers. I know it's tempting. Don't give in!
There are several others I'd recommend if I could remember them all, but those 4 are certainly in the top 10 of most people's lists.
I see. Yeah, indeed, books are the hardest medium to remember as time passes. At least that increases a lot the reread value of some good titles, though. Plus, you rarely catch all of the details of a good book in your first read. Anyway, thanks for the recommendations man, I really appreciate it. Hopefully, I'll be able to find a few physical copies in appropriate prices.
I'm interested in classics, but don't have much time to invest in order to read everything and find the best titles by myself. Recommend me her two best books in your opinion.

Well, the nearest one that doesn't suck too hard requires me to take two buses (and two more to return), so I know the feeling.
Same.
Lucky you. Here good books are hardly ever cheap. This is slowly changing, though.
Good luck! You'll manage eventually.

Also, I kinda find it funny how the hell they put all those other DC characters and places that have NOTHING to do with Green Arrow. XD

Call me old-fashioned, but I read Agatha Christie.
