Murata Eri is a former singer, seiyuu and idol from Yokkaichi in Mie Prefecture. She debuted in 1985, did her two best known songs and her only voice acting involvement under her alias Hashimoto Maiko (橋本舞子) for Bubblegum Crisis at the end of the 80's. Her character "Vision" was also supposed to replace Oomori Kinuko's character "Priss" but didn't in the end. She continued to perform for many song productions mostly under the names Erina and Funny Gene during the 90's. She is currently retired.
