Shirane Tokushige is a former director and producer from Fukuoka Prefecture. After experiencing work as a production designer for live action films at Toei Tokyo Satsueijo, he joined Toei Douga in May of 1964 where he directed episodes of Shounen Ninja Kaze no Fujimaru, Hustle Punch, and Rainbow Sentai Robin among other series. After that, he worked as the head of Toei Douga's art, production, and planning departments before retiring in March of 1992.
