hopelessly hopeful

I hope you let yourself have things.
You're full of hope and worth every breath of life.

and is your shame helpful? is it inspiring goodness and change? or is it keeping you frozen in time unable to move on and be everything you have expanded to be?

Sending love to everyone who is just… tired. Life is a lot, and sometimes the answer to it all is to just be still and silent for a while. Give yourself space and grace. Whether it’s decision fatigue, anxiety fatigue, information fatigue, routine fatigue, getting life back together fatigue, career fatigue, social fatigue, financial fatigue, or physical fatigue—take a moment to breathe and recharge. You deserve it.

resiliencewithin:

You don’t need to be happy right now.

If things are hard, really hard, aiming for happiness is a pretty lofty goal. You’re setting yourself up for disappointment, which is just going to pile on top of what was already crap in the first place.

Sit in the discomfort with the knowledge that it’s temporary. Accept neutral moods with gratitude when things are shit. Treasure the moments of contentment, joy, happiness that peek out of the dark. Get help to cope.

“It takes courage to live softly— to move slow, to be gentle, to not rush to judgment, to take your time, to speak unhurriedly, to fully listen to someone without being so readied to interrupt and speak, to not force or hustle, or to stay connected to your life force and deeper wellspring of creativity. It takes fearlessness to feel worthy of not constantly taking in new information. It takes an act of bravery to decide to feel safe to just be.”
