This particular design was inspired by ones that @bylaurenmcdermott made (thank you!) You all know how I love finding ways to reuse these glass yogurt jars so that’s how I sized them. These can be used to hold cut flowers or to propagate plants and I sealed mine with a waterproof varnish.

Materials:
glass jar, air dry clay, waterproof sealant

Instructions:
- Roll clay out
- Cut out a circle and use water to smooth out the edges
- Create the scalloped edge and smooth
- Cut out the holes— I used a metal straw
- Let dry completely
- Seal with a waterproof glaze/varnish

Besides lots of tea drinking I also turned my hand to a spot of pottery and, do you know what? I absolutely loved it. For the price of some air dry clay you can create a generous sized, textured bowl to rival the most expensive store versions out there. What do you think, fancy giving one a go? Here’s what you’ll need: • Air-dry clay - I used x3 500g packs for the size bowl I wanted • Rolling pin • Bowl to mold your make on, I went big! • Clingfilm to protect & help removal from the mold • Sponge & water to keep clay smooth & pliable • Sharp knife to remove excess clay • Paintbrush to soften surface texture • Sandpa Air Dry Clay Centerpieces, Large Air Dry Clay Projects, Modeling Clay Ideas Step By Step, Air Dry Clay Bowl, Air Dry Clay Diy, Textured Bowl, Textured Bowls, Diy Dish, Air Clay
