Attachments serve as shortcuts or tools for meeting basic needs. When we experience trauma or in any way outgrow an attachment that doesn’t adapt, we get stuck in patterns like: -Cynical, self-deprecating thoughts -Rigidity and avoidance -Out-of-control reactions -Swapping unhealthy attachments -Emotional highs and lows -Reliving painful emotions without closure 🧨 These CAN become attachment wounds when distressing patterns emerge and we CONTINUE to do nothing about them
