You don't need an x cut express. You don't need new sheet metals. You don't need chemicals. You don't need drypoint perspex. You don't need etching paper to print on. You can use some or all those things, yes! But you could also use an aluminium drink can, an old craft knife blade (though I do love my little electric engraver as seen in the video), a castor wheel off a chair and some cheap watercolour paper. In the video I share my image transfer method. You don't even need to do that. You can scratch your design directly onto the can with as much or as little sketch prep as you like, though r Printing On Metal, Tetra Pak Etching, Metal Etching Art, Metal Engraving Designs, Drink Can Crafts, Metal Crafts Ideas, Easy Printmaking Ideas, Metal Engraving Ideas, Aluminium Crafts

They can be cut big and bold or very dainty. When you are learning to engrave any style of Engraving , I believe you should focus in on one and get a thorough understanding of that style before you move on to learning another style to avoid confusion. Although a lot of the basics will transfer over from one style to the other, they are basically like speaking two different languages. Not all engravers learn Western Engraving, Metal Engraving Tools, Metal Engraving Machine, Engraving Patterns, Jewelry Engraving, Scroll Engraving, Engraving Tools, Engraving Art, Different Languages
