Use sentences (or words) from your #ortongillingham or @ufliteracy lessons. 

The “headbands” are old bulletin board borders. The sentences are taken from our OG lessons. I wrote them on strips of card stock and passed them out. Each student used a clothespin to attach their sentence. They walked around reading 4-5 sentences. Then I had them pair up with the last partner they were with. On whiteboards or paper they dictated the sentence that was on their partner’s headband for them  to write out. How to play:
Write out (or type out) your decodable sentences. I use different colors for each skill group. Have students walk around them in a circle while you play music. When the music stops students practice reading their sentences. Repeat.
