I'd recommend a practicing a front wrap cross carry first before attempting to do with your baby. When you use a stretchy wrap, you are modifying it by pulling those vertical pieces of fabric and spreading them across baby as well. But, if you're finding that there is just too much pressure on your little ones legs when trying to get it under their leg, this can be a good alternative. It is something often shown by Hedwych from @wrapyouinlove (And she may have been the very first one who for showed it online, I'm not 100% sure!) Here I am using the @weaverbirds.ug woven that will be available soon! I did film the modified front wrap cross carry with a stretch wrap and just need to edit and get that up! Using a wrap specifically like this would require something with a stiff, woven fabric.
