Santa Fe & Disneyland R.R tickets are always fun to look at. Walt's pride in his Railroad is evident in the highly detailed and "authentic" looking early train tickets. Today's example is a scan that was donated by loyal reader Michael. I believe the "New Circle Route” wording was used immediately after the two trains stopped passing each other and each started identical station stops. The hand written notes on the back of the ticket are almost as cool as the ticket itself. The Tomorrowland…

Bought these two conductor's fare receipts off eBay the other day. They are for the Syracuse and Buffalo Divisions, and show local service on the mainline from Syracuse to Rochester to Buffalo. The receipts show Buffalo Central Terminal (opened in 1929), as well as Center Park station (which was located one mile west of Rochester station, and closed sometime in the 1930s). Some purchased two consecutive coach fares between Newark, NY, and Palmyra, NY, for 17 cents each.

A couple of random souvenirs from the collection. First up is a nice unused train ticket for the Frontierland train. It is unusual to see a Child's unused ticket. Note that the ticket is for freight or cattle passage. Next item to add a little color is a travel decal for the Disneyland Hotel. The graphic features the futuristic Monorail heading to the Hotel with the nice Disneyland Hotel sign.
