Join me for this 18 minute chair yoga workout with a focus on chair exercises to improve mobility- specifically standing up from a seated position. We will start with a few gentle warm up moves and then we will perform some range of motion of the joints involved with standing up and sitting down.  We will then move on to some strengthening poses where we will work slowly and mindfully to work the muscles in the lower body while engaging the core. Finally we will finish our chair exercise by practicing a chair pose variation to put it all together- modification is always welcome here.
