Notes:

Some of the key elements of the AU: a Bad Ending of Dracula. Mina was pregnant (by Jonathan) when she was turned, and when Quincey and Jack tried to fulfil their vows of making sure she didn't become a Vampire, Jonathan intervened. He ended up at Castle Dracula offering himself as a blood farm as long as his wife and child were safe.
Quincey Harker is born to a mother who has been dead for 6 months, and as a Baby Vampire has all sorts of strange powers. He grew up in Castle Dracula, being Jonathan's one bright point of happiness, and somewhat oblivious to the horrors of his birth and life. Mina lost her voice in the transformation, being almost beheaded before Jonathan ‘saved’ her.
At 21, Quincey is sent out into the world by Jonathan, and he takes his letters of introduction to Arthur Holmwood who doesn't know what to do with this polite Human-Vampire, but his fiesty adopted daughter Lu is very intrigued and gives him a chance.
